Minas Cafe

Warning, I have heard from several people but I wanted to try it anyway. The worst service experience in town and OVERPRICED. We visited Minas with my family, we asked for pastries, and drinks, the food was staled, the people at front had the worst attitude. We respectfully asked to exchange the food but they declined and we were further advised that "since the staled food had been served we had to pay for it". No apologies or sorry for the inconvenience. These people act as if they do NOT need customers. We do no mind the prices and tips. We tip extra for great food and great service. I hope they change their food and their negative approach to members of the Kearny community. This place, their food and their employees are just not welcoming.

horrible service, we were “served “ by this waiter named Bianca. We walked in at 11pm waited 20 min to get some sort of attention from one of the girls working, all we got were dirty looks and attitude from her and the other girls there. We already knew what we wanted when we walked in but they took forever to give us the menus and she didn’t even bother greeting us when handing us the menus. Then she was taking her sweet time walking around in the back for 20 minutes, and once we told her what we wanted she ended up telling us the kitchen was closed and that we can’t order anything from the menu but drinks and they only have available what’s on the shelves. She was extremely rude and this is the type of people that ruins society nowadays. Mina’s fix your employees

Minas Café is a wonderful spot to enjoy Brazilian food. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious, and the server was very friendly and welcoming. There’s also a nearby parking lot with hourly rates, which makes it convenient. The ambiance was pleasant and gave a nice vibe—our whole family really enjoyed the experience. Definitely a must-try, and we’re already planning to visit again. The only thing I noticed missing was a Wi-Fi network for internet access.

This place is a haven for casual Brazilian food and treats with good prices!! The ambience is nice and the servers are friendly. I was especially impressed with the tapioca w/guava and cheese. I wanted to see how it would compare to my mother-in-laws 🤗 I also had a burger with bacon and mozzarella, pastel de frango and catupiry, acerola juice and a latte! Everything was delicious! I can’t wait to go back!

The place is wonderful, it has a calm and peaceful vibe. The service is out of this world, our server Thais, very charming managed to deliver what we were wanting to eat. We ate bread with ribs and I can say it was the best sandwich I've ever had. The carrot orange juice was super refreshing and I could feel my body being nourished once again.
