Crema's Take

T-Town Cafe is a charming Tacoma spot that seamlessly blends Korean street food cravings with specialty coffee, drawing regulars back for made-to-order taiyaki with creative fillings and inventive lattes alongside savory bites like tteokbokki and loaded cheese fries. The bustling patio and laptop-friendly interior make it equally suited for a study session with friends or a leisurely solo coffee break, though the real draw is the unexpected fusion menu that keeps customers alternating between sweet and savory. It's the kind of place where you'll discover your new favorite drink one visit and come back for it again and again.

Really love this place. I always get the pork and cheese fries, and their potato cheese dogs with half meat/half cheese. I alternate between regular and spicy for the fries but it's always so good !!! 🤤🤤 the potato cheese dogs strike a lovely balance between being sweet and savory, they're my go-to for this.

If you are looking for a chill spot to just hang out with your friends, study or eat good Korean food and dessert than T-town has you covered. Just a short drive away from Tacoma, people have been flocking to T town for their instagram worthy treats and their meaty tonkatsu. Overall it is worth a visit!

This is our long time favorite for taiyaki to go. We usually get Nutella and custard filling. They make it to order and it’s worth the little wait. We Tried a pistachio cream latte and Dubai chocolate latte, less sweet. The older lady insisted that it’s better iced. She was right, it was delicious! It was almost too pretty to drink.

I’ve always driven by this little café, noticing its charming exterior and bustling patio, but I never took the time to stop and explore. This past weekend, I finally decided to check it out, and I’m so glad that I did. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The space is cozy yet vibrant, with soft lighting, rustic wooden tables, and the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee filling the air. I ordered a latte and a slice of their signature chocolate cake. Both were absolutely fantastic. The latte was perfectly balanced, with creamy foam and a smooth, rich flavor, while the cake was moist, decadent, and beautifully presented. It was clear that the baristas and chefs here take great pride in crafting their food and drinks with care and creativity. What impressed me most was the attention to detail in every aspect, from the friendly service to the thoughtful plating. It felt like a place where you could easily linger for hours, reading or chatting with friends. I can’t believe I waited so long to visit, and I’m already planning my next trip back to try more items on their menu.

I ordered the tteokbokki and halgatteok, and it was delicious! I love the variety in what they serve and all the different delicious things you can get. However the service was definitely questionable?.. it felt slow and sometimes you'd ask for something and they'd make you feel like dumb for asking I don't know. overall service is a bit slow and unprofessional but the food is delicious and I'll definitely be coming back regardless! Super good
