The Drowsy Poet Coffee Co. @ Coffee Break Cafe
4265 Woodbine Rd, Pensacola, FL
Crema's Take
“This thoughtful Pensacola spot splits its space into distinct zones, letting you choose between a bustling social hub and a quiet corner perfect for focused work—all while sipping exceptionally smooth decaff and snacking on some of the best avocado toast around. The baristas genuinely care about their craft and their customers, creating a warm gathering place where the specialty coffee quality matches the genuine hospitality. With fast wifi, cute merchandise, and a menu that goes beyond typical cafe fare, it's the kind of place worth keeping to yourself (though the secret's probably already out).”

It's so good that you hesitate to make a post. Why? It's going to be very popular when you come back. I think I have nothing more to say. See you soon.
I jave always enjoyed their coffee and drink options. I don't often eat here however, I did try the ham, egg, and cheese croissant. It wasn't that great, I only ate half. The taste was off to me. I love a good croissant amd have had very good croissant breakfast sandwiches elsewhere. I have tried several of their lunch sandwiches which have been very delicious! I definitely think everyone should try this place out, they have a lot of different things to try and you really can't go wrong with the coffee.
Excellent spot. Quiet of you want to plug in and not be distracted. Great tasting decaff. The avocado toast is some of the best I've ever had! Fast wifi. The staff was very friendly and wonderfully polite. Christian themed decor items available. If you want to hang out for a while and have one of the more comfortable seats, is get there early.
I love this coffee shop 🩷 all the baristas are so sweet and the drinks and food are so good!! A great gathering place! Also tons of cute merchandise for sale. 😊☕
A great spot to work remotely in Pace, FL!☕️ What I like about each Drowsy Poet location is that the atmosphere varies for on all of them! Atmosphere: The space is separated into two parts where the left-hand side is where you order your menu items as well as can browse the tables that have jewelry, t-shirts, and more! The right-hand side has a beautiful, textured ceiling that really brings the seating area together! Service: Even though they are busy, they are very quick to take down and prepare orders! Menu items: I’ve gotten a simple iced vanilla latte with almond milk, the Bryon special, and their The Tempest sandwich! The coffee at the Poet is always good, and I am in love with their sandwiches! They also serve acai bowls that I highly recommend to try while visiting! I really like their booth seating area that’s closer to the register. It’s isolated enough to get stuff done but is open enough to the space to see what’s going on in the shop (also close to the restroom)! I plan to come back again to try more of their sandwiches!
