Crema's Take
“Tucked into Portland, this cozy Thai spot earns its stellar reputation through genuinely excellent traditional cuisine—think perfectly executed Pad Thai, rare finds like Mango Curry with Duck, and a Panang Beef that arrives generous and vibrant—paired with an atmosphere that feels like dining in a friend's home. The owner's warmth is legendary; regulars rave about genuine conversations and attentive service that strikes that rare balance between laid-back and professional. It's the kind of place where you linger over a traditional drink and excellent pastries, less a transaction and more an invitation.”

I went there to eat last week, and the food was really delicious—especially the soup, larb, and the crispy Pad Thai. The service was great too. The owner was very kind and friendly, chatted with us, and even let us try some nice white wine I like the papaya salad too, but I wish it were a little saltier because it’s a bit sweet for me. Overall, the restaurant is really great🍜🍷
Best Thai food i’ve ever had. Such a cozy atmosphere and very friendly service! The pad thai was amazing as well as the chicken dumplings. We can’t wait to come back!
We tried Thai Tree based on other reviews and it was a great experience. The food was delicious and well presented. The Mango Curry with Duck was a rare treat and cooked perfectly! We also had the Pad Kee Mao and a Seafood Special that were both top notch. The staff cheerfully worked around our dietary restrictions.
Walking in it was really cozy and cute. Gracious host. Panaang Beef was large, lots veggies very good sauce! Papaya Salad was scrumptious. Very enjoyable!
This is to most amazing Thai restaurant! The atmosphere was very laid back while also being professional. The staff were really kind and attentive, it felt like having dinner in someone’s home! The food… SO GOOD! Different than most area Thai restaurants, fairly priced and really yummy. Also the drinks were so good and unique! We’ll be back!
