Crema's Take
“Tucked into Madisonville, this charming neighborhood gem strikes a beautiful balance between premium coffee craftsmanship and genuine hospitality, with baristas who know how to pull a stellar cappuccino and creative espresso drinks like their beloved coconut cold brew. Beyond the excellent coffee, you'll find a community-minded space where you can settle in with full breakfast options, seasonal pastries, and matcha lattes, with the thoughtful touch of free drip coffee refills and tons of seating that invites you to linger. It's the kind of place where locals return again and again for both the welcoming vibe and the consistently excellent food and drinks.”

Beautiful coffee shop with a premium feel. Wonderful food options and excellent coffee based drinks. The coffee is good but they don't offer pour over, just drip. I think they're cappuccinos and lattes are where it's at.
The coffee is always good, I love the coconut cold brew. They serve the coffee into mugs. The drip coffee is free refills! I wish they had more chair options over stools but tons of seating options.
If you’re looking for one of the most charming and community-minded coffee shops in Cincinnati, Mom ‘n’ em Coffee on Whetsel Avenue in Madisonville should be at the top of your list. This local gem was started by brothers Tony and Austin Ferrari as a tribute to their mom—and that warm, welcoming energy is exactly what you feel the moment you walk in. We tried two of their breakfast sandwiches, both made fresh and full of flavor. The Classic Egg & Bacon is simple but done perfectly—fluffy egg, crisp bacon, and a balance that makes it our favorite. The seasonal Mushroom Melt (we added an egg!) is a must-try too, with earthy mushrooms, fig jam, and peppery arugula creating an unexpectedly delicious combo. Paired with a beautifully made mocha, it was the perfect weekend breakfast. The atmosphere is cozy, eclectic, and full of life—lots of tables, window seats, and counter space whether you’re catching up with friends, working solo, or just enjoying a slow morning. We love supporting small local businesses like this that make Cincinnati neighborhoods feel like home. — Debbie & Ken Harmer, Harmer Home Team, eXp Realty – Helping you feel at home in every Cincinnati community.
My favorite coffee shop in Cincinnati! Everyone is so nice here & the food & drink items I've tried have all been amazing. My go to is an iced matcha latte and the yogurt & granola bowl with seasonal fruit & honey.
Very cute atmosphere and decor! I so wanted to love it but I popped in before work and it took 20 minutes to make 1 latte that was made incorrectly. I got a pastry that looked AMAZING but was just okay when eating. I would give them another chance but not a great first impression.
