Great Italian coffee shop and lunch locale. Italian pastries, drinks, and meals available. I went in the afternoon on a Friday and it was quite busy. Love the added touch of the kinder bar. My drink, a pistachio cappuccino, just wasn't that hot.
What a gem! I loved the options at the coffee bar! My iced matcha latte was incredible, and my son said the hot chocolate was the best he's ever had. The pizza has great flavor and a perfect crust, and I loved the pesto on my sandwich. All of the servers/employees were very sweet and helpful. I didn't get silverware until I asked, but they were friendly about it. We were sitting at the bar by the front window, so I can understand how they forgot to come back for my lunch order after we put my son's order in, and I wasn't upset. I definitely want to come back and try dinner here sometime.
We were thrilled when they were able to fit us in on a busy Friday evening. Thanks again for that! The food was very good. The bruschetta was especially good! It and the salad tasted very fresh! We were happy to be able to find a restaurant that serves Lambrusco by the bottle. Theirs was not as sweet as others, but very flavorful and good! Our tiramisu was very good and ended our meal perfectly. I really liked the music - it gave the room a fun vibe. I will say this is a very small space for a busy dinner service. The tables are quite close together. It makes for an excellent coffee shop during the day I would think. I will hopefully be back for coffee sometime. It is not a romantic venue and many of the tables look at the door (which was open a lot) to the kitchen. Our service was very attentive and they were quick to resolve a couple of asks (definitely get the balsamic drizzle sauce as I am going to call it - not sure at all what it actually is but it is SO yummy! Our bottle was out at our table and they quickly brought us out a little bowl of it for our bruschetta. So yummy! The venue will probably hinder us from coming back as there are so many choices for Italian in Cincinnati, but we wish them the very best!
I mainly just had coffee today but I saw and smelled the food nearby which honestly seemed AMAZING. I'm not surprised this place is busy but we did make a reservation that still required us to wait for just a seat with 2 people. Despite needing to wait, it was definitely worth the wait. Staff were extremely friendly and you can tell they are struggling to keep up with how many people want to visit. I think eventually they might need a location with more seating then hire more staff to keep up, but overall I'm VERY impressed with how they all handled the workload here. Just be mentally prepared you might need to wait. It might be tough to find parking but there was a spot right down the street.
Everybody has a bad day, but this one was especially disappointing. This spot thrives as a coffee shop, and the staff is always friendly. That’s why I decided to bring friends to try dinner for the first time. We had reservations for 8:00 PM but weren’t seated until 8:30 PM. I had a feeling it would be an issue when I saw people already standing and waiting when we arrived at 7:50 PM. We were told several times, “just 10 more minutes,” but after multiple delays, it became a 40-minute wait. The drinks were good, but the food didn’t live up to expectations. The highlight of the meal ended up being dessert—the chocolate cake and cream roll were excellent. Unfortunately, the restaurant seemed understaffed and unorganized. On top of that, they handed out the wrong menu, so certain items we tried to order weren’t even available, and what we did receive wasn’t enjoyable. I wouldn’t completely write off dinner here, but I wasn’t impressed. One friend did enjoy their food, so that’s a plus. The restaurant is clearly growing fast, but they’ll need more staff and better time management for reservations and seating. I’d even recommend setting two-hour reservation windows to help with flow. That said, I still highly recommend them for breakfast and coffee—that’s where they really shine. Hopefully your experience will be better than mine.
