Foster's Market
2694 Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd, Chapel Hill, NC
Crema's Take
“This casual Chapel Hill institution has perfected the art of the unpretentious neighborhood gathering spot, where mismatched chairs and a charmingly worn-in aesthetic set the stage for genuinely excellent food and honest coffee. Their cubano sandwiches and house-made pastries draw regulars back year after year, while the efficient order-at-counter system keeps things moving even when the place fills up—making it equally welcoming whether you're ducking in for a quick caffeine hit or settling in for a leisurely breakfast with your dog. The whole operation radiates the kind of laid-back confidence that comes from nailing the fundamentals: strong, smooth coffee and surprisingly affordable, high-quality food that people actually get excited about.”
What to expect
Classic coffee drinks done right. A slow-sit, quick-grab spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast, pastries, and light food on the menu. Dog friendly. Family friendly.

this was my first time coming to Foster’s and it definitely won’t be the last. .We were looking for a breakfast spot in Durham and they had the perfect breakfast menu with lots of options. upon entering you order at the counter and then they give you the check to go pay at the…
The place was disgusting. Spider webs, dirt, etc. it looks like they’re trying way too hard to be country since none of the chairs match and they’re all dirty. The pancakes are made from the cheapest mix and are terrible. The eggs are decent though. The biscuits look raw as…
Best cubano sandwich. I hadn’t been to this place in 15 years, and it didn’t disappoint. Very informal place, with plenty of tables although it does get full.
Foster’s Market Went in for breakfast today and it was a solid win! - *Food:* Delicious, hit all the right spots. - *Coffee:* Strong, smooth, and just the right kick. - *Vibe:* Chill, good for a relaxed start to the day. Overall, a great spot if you want tasty breakfast + good…
Loved bringing my dog here and having a wonderful brunch. I like how they were set up to seat yourself, order upfront and someone will deliver your order. It made for fast service.
Without a doubt, some Of the best food you will eat anywhere. I consider the prices the lowest I've seen for the high quality of food. The deserts/cakes are to die for. The food shop has wonderful selections to take home. If you are near Durham, you have to visit!
