Crema's Take
“Tucked downtown, this charming hybrid space blends serious coffee craftsmanship with an impressive curated collection of minerals and gemstones, creating an unexpectedly magical spot where you can sip expertly sourced espresso while browsing polished stones and fossils. The owner and staff are genuinely passionate about where everything comes from—whether it's the coffee beans or the crystals on the shelves—and they bring that infectious knowledge and warmth to every interaction, making you feel like you're discovering something special rather than just ordering a drink. It's the kind of place that works equally well for a solo contemplative morning, a meeting with friends, or families looking for something a little different than your typical café.”

Great shop, extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff who mine and/or source everything in the shop firsthand. I'm just a basic hobby collector but I like knowing where my stuff comes from and its history, and ever moreso I like collecting local items and especially buying local. This shop checks all the boxes. 😁👍👍
I stopped by this little coffee and rock shop the other day, and I’ve got to say, it’s a solid find. The coffee was legitimately impressive—rich, smooth, and easily some of the best I’ve had in a while. No weak brews or burnt aftertaste, just a damn good cup. On top of that, the owner’s got an extensive collection of rocks and gems for sale. We’re talking a wide range of unique pieces—everything from polished stones to raw chunks—at prices that won’t make you flinch. The vibe’s laid-back, and it’s clear the owner knows their stuff without being pushy. If you’re into coffee or cool rocks, it’s worth a visit.
This shop was one of the cutest rock shops I’ve been to in the Salt Lake Valley area! There were so many amazing polished, cut and tumbled gemstones and minerals as well as some really great fossil specimens! I loved looking through the owners personal collection that’s displayed in the shop too! There are so many unique and rare finds! I spoke with the owner briefly, Kathy, and she’s such a gentle soul! She spoke with me about a really neat children’s rockhounding book she had in the shop, and we talked a little bit about wonderstone and pigeon blood agate! I bought a couple of tumbled pieces, but my favorites that I brought home were the blood stones! They’re gorgeous! I’ll definitely be back!
Kathy was so welcoming showing us around her shop! We got a coffee and chai and she even asked if there was anything she could add to make the drinks taste better for us after she made them… they were delicious! Her collection of minerals is very impressive. She gets many pieces from local rockhounds and people who find their own pieces, as well as collecting them herself! We bought a couple of crystals to add to our collection from here and are amazed at the quality and care of each piece. This is not your everyday crystal shop, this is the BEST place in salt lake! We highly recommend checking it out and we will be back!
Adorable rock & coffee shop right downtown. Extremely affordable prices for all budgets. Amazing rock & crystal collections. Most of the other crystal/rock shops are further out of town. I love having one right in the heart of the city! Also Kathie is amazing and she brings such uplifting energy to her shop. Definitely go check it out!
