Crema's Take

This Fort Lauderdale spot brings genuine Cuban hospitality to the breakfast and pastry game, with standout empanadas and traditional café drinks that hit different when you're craving something authentic. While pricing can feel steep and consistency varies, the real magic happens when you encounter staff like Simón, who genuinely cares about getting your order right no matter the rush. It's best visited as a quick weekend grab rather than a leisurely sit-down, and keeping an eye on your receipt is wise.

They steal money from you . I passed to grab something to go. The lady TIPPED HERSELF! If I never asked for the receipt I would of never seen that charge . Sad thing is I seen elderly there that I guarantee did not know they were charged extra tip either. [ I Went to Jamba juice to see how they operate and that place was honest and better quality] Avoid this place . The empanadas were not quality Only coffee was good . Definitely Unexpected, as the girl seemed sweet but to do that .. wow shameful . She put blame on management . So im assuming this is the way they operate. Taking from unsuspecting people .

I have to give a low review on this one because I got a sandwich and donut and the cost was almost $17. Not at all worth the money. The donut was ice cold and hard. I didn’t even eat it. The guy was nice, but prices should be more transparent. You don’t know what things cost until he swipes your card. Not worth the money or time.

Simón is absolutely lovely, he puts his entire back into making sure all customers, no matter how busy it gets, are attended to and are orders are made promptly. I will definitely be coming back

I went on a Saturday at noon, food was delicious, and service was quick and polite. The empanadas are the best I’ve had since moving up to the area from Miami. If you’re Latino/latina you know how hard it is to get a well prepared empanada. This place is it. I saw a bunch of comments giving this place a 1 star but that is far from my experience at this little hidden gem 💎 (especially the Starbucks comment? Out of left field) if you are thinking of going here I would ignore the salty comments and make your own opinion on this place! Cheers ☕️

My experience today in this place has been very good. I was taken care of very well by two educated Cuban girls. I recommend it to people who want a quick breakfast or a snack.
