Vivalon Café
999 3rd St, San Rafael, CA
Crema's Take
“Tucked away on the second floor of its building, Vivalon Café rewards the effort to find it with genuinely warm hospitality and a kitchen that clearly cares about getting things right—Amy and the team proved this by their gracious response to a mixed-up order. Their mochas are the real draw here, crafted with the kind of attention that keeps regulars coming back, and the light food pairs perfectly with an unhurried coffee experience whether you're meeting a friend or grabbing something to go.”

The food is good, the people are nice and helpful, and they make a delicious Mocha! While the cafe is there on the second floor (you can take the elevator or stairs to get there.) the organization also offers classes, workshops, and services such as transportation for the elderly and the disabled. So it’s a good organization to support.
I picked up a sandwich to go. When I got home, I noticed the lunch was a chicken salad. I called the Cafe to let them know, Amy, the kitchen supervisor, was most gracious: she told me the next time I come in, the meals on them. To that I say cheers!
