Crema's Take

This charming Greek-inspired café in Media is a serious espresso destination where the barista Alex handcrafts everything from syrups to pastries, making each visit feel personal and intentional. The freddo espresso drinks are dangerously smooth, but venture into their creative territory with the lavender-rose matcha latte or pair your coffee with authentic spanakopita—it's the kind of place that transforms a coffee run into a proper ritual worth lingering over.

Overall great experience. Alex the Barista is very knowledgeable about the beans they sell and he even makes all the syrups in house. The lavender rose in a matcha latte is a must try! The spinach feta pastry is a large portion and one of the best I’ve had.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The Brew Room is probably my new favorite coffee shop in the area and the Greek influence of everything is amazing. I love the Spanakopita and their dirty chai lattes. It's a great vibe too. Update: Still amazing! Absolutely my favorite place in town. 👏🏼

DELISH espresso oh my goodness! If I was in walking distance, it would be dangerous for me to have such easy espresso access. I got the freddo espresso, and it was super smooth yet still had that sharp, almost chocolatey tang. It paired well with my Santorini pastry, a flaky pie filled with olives, peppers, and feta. So salty and creamy! I wish it had a bit more crunch, but overall a delish breakfast. My fiancé got a chai latte which was also very good (super frothy milk, not too sweet chai) as well as the vanilla bougatsa. WOW this was so crisp, sweet, and buttery! The custard had a lot of vanilla flavor and the powdered sugar and cinnamon on top was the perfect compliment to the flakey dough. It came out piping hot too! If I wasn’t such a savory breakfast girlie, I would def recommend getting this pastry with your coffee. The vibes in here are awesome too. I stayed in here to work on my laptop post-pastry, and while I didn’t see a wifi password, I was able to use my phone as a hotspot and chill on a comfy mini couch to do my work. Love the branding, the warm green color scheme, and the lil mascot guy is ADORABLE. Really excited for this spot to be in Ardmore!

The best place for coffee in the main line and Ardmore. This new spot is living up to the hype. I ordered a chai latte, which was delicious. I wasn’t really hungry but the spanakopita and the croissant looked too good to pass up. They were perfectly crispy on the outside. The seating is warm and welcoming, and the branding is on point too. Highly recommend this spot.

The Brew Room is a charming new Greek-inspired café that will quickly become a neighborhood favorite. With rich, bold coffee (don’t miss the freddo cappuccino), house-made pastries like flaky spanakopita and sweet bougatsa, and a standout sandwich menu, it offers something for every craving. The Mortadella and Provolone sandwich and spicy Italian option are both fresh, flavorful, and filling. The space is warm and inviting, and the staff make you feel right at home. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or a relaxing coffee break, The Brew Room delivers authentic flavors with a modern twist.
