Herman's Coffee

I love Herman's coffee, they are so so sweet and nice there and have your order ready so fast. They are dog friendly as well and they have a little pantry where you can buy good quality and local pantry items. Their coffee is delicious and their flavors are so good

Coffee was amazing but at the end of the day it’s about how the service is and they were talking to me like I was stupid and made it seem like everyone has to know the rules before they come into the restaurant, which makes no sense to me. [asked for cream and sugar and they just looked annoyed and pointed to it, asked about food options and he said we have sweet or savory and named 2 things…] Overall a disappointing experience from the staff.

Herman’s ticks all the boxes. Super chill vibes, friendly staff always playing the jams, and some of the best coffee in Philly. I love the little shoppy shop inside too. It’s perfect whether you need a gift or want to put together a great meal for yourself. They also have an extensive non-alcoholic section, which you rarely see. It’s all just so thoughtful. You really can’t go wrong here. A truly world-class place in South Philly.

I’m always looking for good coffee wherever I go. We got an iced caramel latte and a 20oz ice chai. It was very smooth and balanced. Ratio of milk to espresso was good. I’m a bit picky with my coffee but this place was worth the stop. The shop is pretty tiny without the doors open but has ample outside seating. The price was very affordable at $9 total for our two drinks.

Cute coffee shop and market! Many speciality drinks and options for tea lovers like myself. We tried the cookie butter latte, iced caramel latte, and chai latte. Specialty coffees had good flavoring that was not overpowering or too sweet. Chai was classic and good. 10/10 drinks. The market is also great, they had many items from local stores (like mighty bread and milk jawn). Can’t wait to come back when it’s nice out and enjoy the outdoor space!
