Ironworks Coffee and Crepes
315 Girod St, New Orleans, LA
Crema's Take
“Ironworks Coffee and Crepes is a beloved New Orleans neighborhood gem where genuinely warm staff and authentic, reasonably-priced crêpes (both sweet and savory) create the kind of place where locals keep coming back for breakfast. The coffee is solid and the pastries move quickly from kitchen to table, but it's really the community feeling and those exceptional crêpes—whether you're grabbing one to go or settling in for a slow morning—that make this spot special.”

Ironwork says super friendly staff and it’s obviously a big part of the community. The food and coffee are outstanding. Their crêpes are sweet or savory and they’re pretty good deal for $10 – $15. I had smoked salmon, cream cheese and capers and it was absolutely fantastic. i’m going back again to try one of their sweet crêpes.
Ironworks Caffe is a wonderful place in New Orleans. As a Russian who really loves traditional Russian crêpes (blini), I can honestly say the food here is amazing and very authentic. Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and full of flavour. On top of that, the owner is incredibly nice, warm, and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. You can really feel the care and love put into this place. Highly recommend!
January 1, 2026 - 4.5 ⭐s Enjoyed a nice breakfast at Ironworks Coffee and Crepes this morning. The crepes were wonderful and the coffee was above average. Our party sampled three crepes. Each one was 5⭐ quality. The hot chocolate was also excellent. The coffee was a dark roast that was slightly over roasted and the Cuban was a little too sweet. However, all-in-all, the coffee was above average. The atmosphere was excellent. The place was very crowded, which added to the great atmosphere. I would visit Ironworks Coffee and Crepes anytime I find myself in New Orleans. This was a 4.5⭐visit.
The staff were super friendly. Our order was completed quickly faster than I expected which was amazing. The food was amazing, I’d recommend adding some spices to their Giselle crepe. Something small like chili flakes, salt, or pepper would be a great add-on
Excellent experience! I enjoyed the crepes so much I came twice for breakfast! Cute spot with friendly staff. Good coffee and crepes come out quick. Highly recommend the Nutella crepe with strawberries and banana. Also really liked the bacon, egg and cheese savory crepe. Would definitely come back here if I return to New Orleans!
