Crema's Take

This cat-loving haven in Ferndale pairs thoughtfully pulled traditional coffee drinks with the chance to interact with adoptable cats in a genuinely welcoming environment where staff clearly prioritize both feline welfare and visitor comfort. It's the kind of place where you'll linger over your cup while volunteering gently educates you on which rescues are ready for affection, making it perfect for a slow afternoon that might just end with finding your new best friend. The vibe is conversational and genuine—locals and newcomers alike come to decompress, socialize, and support cats on their way to forever homes.

This was such an amazing experience to visit the cats here and sip on a coffee! The staff care so much for these cats and you can see how well they are taken care of before going to their forever homes. We can't wait to come back and do one of their many events with cats. I am so glad I was able to go here and will definitely be back!!

It was a fun experience. The volunteers were very polite and told us which 3 cats we shouldn’t touch and the cats were on top of the cages. We went at 4 pm and the cats didn’t start warming up to us until a half hour or so. They were so cute. There was a total of 25 cats. A lot of them were sleeping or didn’t want to be bothered. The concept is cool. It definitely nice experience to hangout with cats for an hour. A total of 15 people can be in at time. I made an appointment online. There’s coffee and baked goods you can have and two restrooms in the waiting area.

I wasn't a fan of this cat cafe. It smells horrendously of cat pee and litter and the employees were not very warm and welcoming. My biggest issue is the fact that they are using customers to acclimate their dangerous cats to people. This is a very delicate process that should be done by a professional, not by the local public. They are a no kill shelter which is great but I don't think it's appropriate to have vicious cats in a cat cafe setting. And it's also a bummer to be told by staff that you can't interact with a handful of the cats for this reason. Oh and it looks like a previous customer was asked for a $10 donation to enter the facility but me and my family were told it was a $15/per person donation to enter so that was rude. I don't recommend coming here, there are better cat cafes that you can actually breathe in and enjoy properly.

Literally the best!! I just made my first trip over there and will definitely be going back. The cats and kittens are all so adorable. I went during 1-2 and they were all pretty sleepy. The staff were very friendly and interacting with the people. Parking was easy to get too. I can’t wait to get back!!!
