Crema's Take

This cozy Harbor spot strikes that rare balance between serious espresso craft and genuine hospitality, where knowledgeable baristas pull excellent shots and the drip coffee lives up to the hype. The welcoming crew creates an adorable, spacious atmosphere perfect for meeting friends or settling in with work—just plan to arrive early if you want to snag an outlet, and know that wifi comes with a two-hour timer that keeps things intentional rather than Instagram-camp. It's the kind of place regulars rave about visiting daily, where the warm smiles and skilled hands behind the counter make you feel genuinely welcomed from the moment you walk in.

Very friendly staff, great coffee, cozy atmosphere. Not a huge number of outlets so come early if you want one.

Stopped in today to grab a coffee and a pastry to work on so much needed letters. Staff was super pleasant in the and the place itself is adorable. They were out of pastries (I got here at 12:30 on a Saturday) and they told me that they usually go pretty early in the morning - which I get. I was recommended a chai latte and it was wonderful. A little pricey, but what is it in the city? It’s a little tucked away but a great place to come if you need to get some reading or work done. I’ll be back if I’m in the area.

Nice place with good coffee. The drip was delicious and the espresso was well done. Baristas were friendly and seemed knowledgeable. You only get 2 hours of internet access and then you’re cut off. I also notice how many baristas in the industry make assumptions about people’s coffee knowledge and just tell them things. I understand this kind of conversation as a cultural feature, and I also don’t prefer it. It becomes more of them telling me something that I already know and less a discussion about a mutually enjoyed nerdy topic. They had a good selection of whole bean coffee. Nothing is labeled so I had to ask about prices, which I don’t like. It’s a bigger space in a brick building, with plenty of tables, couches, and chairs. You have to get lucky with parking, and the location is not accessible for many people. I had to walk two blocks, some parts of the sidewalk are cracked, and there’s at least one large step to enter the building. The floor is bare concrete inside with a step into another section with additional seating.

Absolutely love this place! Stayed in the area for about a month, and I came here daily. Wonderful, friendly people and talented baristas. Highly recommend!

It was my first time at this cozy yet spacious coffee shop that I had been wanting to visit for a while. As soon as I entered, the barista welcomed me with a bright smile. Many people were focused on their laptops, studying. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and a chocolate chip cookie, both of which were delicious! I’ll definitely be back soon. Finding parking was tricky, but I was lucky to snag a spot on my first visit!
