Crema's Take

Vero Espresso feels like settling into a friend's living room in a charming old house, where students, families, and regulars linger over excellent espresso drinks and seasonal specialties like their standout honey lemon ginger tea. The wrap-around deck and large patio make it an ideal spot to camp out with your laptop or catch up with friends, and the kitchen turns out surprisingly satisfying classics—their Cafe Borgia and breakfast sandwiches are beloved enough to bring people back again and again.

My favorite coffee shop. Love the homey atmosphere like a big community living room in a neat old house. I get the Cafe Borgia every time with a breakfast sandwich or quiche.

University students and their teachers/staff are the regulars. Last visit we were next to a family visiting their frosh son and gf. There’s plenty of seating with a wrap around deck, a large patio area with picnic tables and a large indoor room when it gets too cold. The espresso is superb and the breakfasts and baked goods delicious. I like their bagel with lox, seen in picture, with a Cortado ( all the espresso with half the milk of a latte). The staff are engaging and friendly. It’s one of the best espresso spots in Eugene.

This place makes excellent honey lemon ginger teas. Perfect for the winter. I miss the days when you could get a seat in here. The line out the door needs better configuring;)

Made a quick spontaneous pit stop for matcha latte, the cost for 16oz $5.75 is average. Taste of matcha is light, we got iced and came sweetened . Not a bad thing just keep in mind when ordering.

a great little spot to relax at after work food on the menu is largely unsurprising but tasty nonetheless. the BLT i tried had all its ingredients perfectly balanced and was satisfying. i also tried a bite of a sesame bagel with cream cheese which seemed fine have not tried their coffee yet; Italian sodas were as refreshing as you like. for seating, there were a few tables indoors and a few outdoors near the establishment. service was friendly; would love to come here again sometime.
