Slowpokes

I love their coffee! I also appreciate how fast the service is if you want a quick bite. My favorite thing to get is a blue berry muffin, with breakfast tacos and a vanilla latte.

We absolutely love going to this Slowpokes! Whether we stop in for mugs of expertly crafted hot drinks enjoyed in the cozy atmosphere, or take our delicious iced drinks for a walk in the park, we know we’re going to get a treat. Their food is amazing as well. I’ve tried to remember to take a picture of their breakfast taco with avocado every time I’ve had it, and I always forget and eat it before I remember. 😭 It’s such a good snack!! The cilantro crema is amazing!!!! The staff here are all super friendly, nice and patient as well, whether we come in the morning, afternoon, or night. Though we love our morning people 🥰 Thank you Slowpokes!!!

Some of the best food finds aren’t planned, they just happen. That’s exactly how I stumbled onto Slowpokes. I’m from Conroe and was in the area handling business, just looking for a solid cup of coffee to get me through the day. Instead, I found a spot that feels like it was designed for slowing down on purpose. The coffee? Idk it was just a coffee compared to what I ordered with it, the real surprise was the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. Not just “good for a coffee shop” good, genuinely incredible. Fluffy, buttery, and comforting in that Southern way that hits home. What really elevates the experience is the setting. Right out front is a beautiful park , the perfect place to sit with your coffee, take a walk, or just breathe for a minute. It adds this calm, almost retreat-like feel to the whole visit. Slowpokes isn’t just a coffee stop, it’s a vibe. And if I find myself in the area again, I won’t be “accidentally” walking in next time. I’ll be going on purpose.

Tremendous coffee and really approachable menu with a variety of fun names and flavor combinations. Salmon and lox and lazy latte — my fav! 10 star service — always a friendly smile and hours are great (late evening). I left a personal item behind and they kept it safe and sound!

Nice coffee and food, though it was very crowded, with a fifteen ish minute wait and slow service. They seemed quite understaffed, and the person tending to everything seemed quite stressed. I tried the "Empanadas" which be warned is one empanada despite how plurals work. Anyways, they tasted good.
