Marylous Coffee
2200 Pawtucket Ave, East Providence, RI
Crema's Take
“This East Providence spot wins over customers with genuinely sweet staff and creative specialty drinks like their signature Banana Nut and Toasted Marshmallow flavors, though consistency can be a gamble depending on the day and who's behind the counter. If you're after inventive cold brew options and a family-friendly vibe, it's worth a visit, especially if you grab a bag of their coffee beans to enjoy at home—just aim for earlier in the day when the brew is fresh.”

Coffee was ok. Tasted old and stale and burnt. Girls were super sweet. Especially one who worked with me. Stale old coffee is typical of Marylous. They don't make it fresh all day after so after 400,000 drops into those tubs you start to drink very old coffee off the sides of the coffee holders and some microplastics too. But hey those are everywhere. It's probably just because they put so much coffee in there for so many years, unless you get there right away in the morning, it's not going to taste great. Just a thought. Not bad. Not great. Ok to occasional good.
This is the most hit or miss location. There is days where the staff is competent and I am in and out of the drive through in 1 minute or less. Today we went through, had to repeat our order multiple times at the speaker, pulled up to the window and the girl still did not know what our order was. Tried to charge our card for each individual thing because she kept forgetting what we ordered. Had a very bad attitude to the point we drove away because she was not giving us our food. When we called the manager was nasty on the phone. I don’t know what’s going on with this location but we won’t be back.
Great coffee shoppe. A delicious variety of hot and ice coffee flavors. Love ❤️ the sales on their coffee bags to enjoy at home. First time tried Banana Nut and the Toasted Marshmallow. Fantastic! I am a new customer. Roxanne Kettle
This is the worst Marylous I’ve ever been too, I am a frequent customer. They have employees there that barely even do anything at all. The management keeps the people that work there, that don’t do nothing at all. The ones that do their job are barely ever there. I like some of the employees here, this one employee I really love there she is younger or older I’m not sure. She looks very very very young, but she is very nice to me and my son when we come here. She told me she a has a two-year-old son, her name tag says Laly on it. She is very polite to my son and I, and others as well. She’s always keeping this place clean as well, she’s always cleaning to me I always see her stocking and always cleaning up this place. I’m sorry to anyone that does their job and barely works, you all deserve a raise. I won’t be coming to Marylou’s anymore.
Are used to live in Rhode Island and I never tried this coffee but after trying it I can tell you that I missed out. If you like sugar, this is the spot for you for sure. I even like it better than most of the chain brands that are around, and I love the convenience of it being located in a gas station.
