Slow Drip TX
1625 Main St, Houston, TX
Crema's Take
“This Houston gem specializes in a meticulous 9-hour Japanese-style slow drip process that yields exceptionally smooth, nuanced coffee with a serious caffeine punch and virtually no acidity. Beyond their signature slow drip, the baristas are genuinely knowledgeable and generous with samples and explanations, while their commitment to locally sourced ingredients like honey sets them apart in the specialty coffee scene. It's a welcoming, comfortable space perfect for lingering over a cup or meeting friends, where even non-coffee lovers find themselves pleasantly surprised.”

Visited for the first time and felt instantly welcomed. The barista kindly explained their specialties, and the iced coffee was exceptional. Cozy space, comfortable seating, and a place we will gladly return to.
Great coffee! I'm not a coffee lover but this coffee tasted really good. I love that they use locally sourced honey and not sugar in some of the drinks. Their ingredients are locally sourced and organic, I'm in love! I hope they open a location in Katy. Service is really good and welcoming!
Got the slow drip iced coffee with oat milk. They use a 9 hour process that's similar to Japanese slow drip. Caffeine kick is strong. The coffee flavor is very subtle and nuanced. Not acidic and leaves no aftertaste. Employees are friendly. Chair and couch seating inside. Soft background music. I usually drink Viet coffee or dark roast so slow drip isn't my thing, but I can see how some might prefer this smoother style.
I got their iced slow drip coffee with brown sugar and oat milk. The baristas were friendly and helpful. They gave a little run down of how they operate and one offered us a sample which was the drink I ended up getting. I got my bacon taco super quick and their red sauce was delish! I could eat a whole bowl of it. They did forget about my drink but when I went up to ask the barista he was really quick on bringing it out to me and asked me what my food was so he could give me a refund. He also upsized my drink as well. Not only was the service amazing but their coffee/ breakfasts tacos are equally as amazing👑🤩
This coffee shop specializes in drip coffee. The quality of coffee and service is great. The atmosphere is too modern for my liking. It feels cold and uninviting. I ordered a bacon and egg sausage sandwich which was very bread heavily and had stale bread and egg. It would be a great spot if you’re working downtown and need a quick coffee. I wouldn’t come here to spend time to catch up with someone.
