The Nook Cafe
480 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY
Crema's Take
“Tucked away on Broadway in Saratoga Springs, The Nook is a genuine hole-in-the-wall where the cook actually comes out to chat with you about customizing your order—whether that's offering his house Cajun seasoning or accommodating dietary needs with real care. This is where locals grab what might be the town's best bacon egg and cheese sandwich alongside solid cold brew, then linger over breakfast in a genuinely family-friendly space where the owner and staff treat you like you belong.”

Stopped in today for the first time on a whim. WOW! Quintessential Hole in the wall cafe Food was great. People were attentive, respectful, and very friendly. *BEST BACON EGG N CHEESE IN TOWN* Coffee could’ve have been stronger but perhaps that’s because I got an iced with creamer. Bagel was crispy but soft. Eggs were fried but not dripping grease Bacon was excellently cooked crunchy but not burnt and crumbly Veggies were cold, fresh and juicy. Serving size did not leave me wanting more but the food sure did. Will be returning.
The food was excellent and the staff was super friendly. The cook came out to ask if I wanted to try his Cajun seasoning on my sandwich (The Club Egg Sandwich) since I had asked for hot sauce. I’m glad I tried it as the sandwich was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend anyone to try the Cajun seasoning. The food was freshly cooked and out very quick! The prices were more than fair and I will definitely be back. Would definitely recommend.
I would give 6 stars if I could! They were so kind and helpful. I have dietary restrictions and the cook came out to go over what accommodations I needed to make sure I was comfortable with what I ordered. The prices can't be beat and the food and atmosphere were perfect!
I was looking for a quick spot for lunch and spotted The Nook while walking down Broadway. Can't say enough good things. The owner and his staff were extremely friendly and the food was delicious. I had the Cape Codder sandwich, it was huge and excellent. Definitely worth stopping in. Edit to add: stopped again for another quick lunch. Soup, Saratogian Sandwich, and the pasta salad were excellent!
We were looking for a place on the main street of Saratoga to get a sandwich to take with us as we went on a hike. Went to The Nook, a new breakfast and lunch cafe on Broadway. Got two roast beef sandwiches, The Westchester, which were delicious. The service was fast and friendly. Give it a try.
