Crema's Take

Block & Drum is an underground listening room where coffee takes a backseat to live music and community—think less coffee shop, more cultural hub with expertly crafted drinks that won't distract you from catching las mañanitas or catching up with friends. The industrial space has a laid-back, hidden-gem energy that draws people in for the vibes as much as the smooth, carefully made beverages, and their late-opening hours make it perfect for evening hangs when you want something more than just coffee.

Definitely one of a greatest hole in the wall venues !! Las mañanitas Guadalupanas was such a great show!! With all the live music and the pop up holiday shop! Great drinks ! The hot chocolate ☕️ was definitely one of the top best !

Missed opportunity all around - or I might not understand their concept. Walked in - great place, cool industrial design with a huge screen for sports and entertainment. I can see them have events and parties here, cool spot! But that’s where it ended unfortunately. Came here to watch sports - again, great spot for it. The bar line was long because they only serve handmade cocktails - no beer, which is crazy and a missed opportunity. Chick-n-pig bbq had a food truck but closed at 6P. Had a courtesy drink and left - to a lesser attractive but more rounded place that caters to a fun atmosphere.

Block & Drum has a really cool, laid-back vibe and feels like a hidden gem in the city. It’s a great spot whether you're hanging out with friends, on a date, or just looking for a good time. The drinks were smooth, flavorful, and strong without being overpowering. I only needed one to feel it, which is rare these days. I went for a salsa event and the DJ had the music flowing perfectly all night. The crowd was fun, diverse, and full of good energy. Parking was a bit tricky, but I got lucky finding a spot nearby. I’d definitely come back, especially when they’re hosting a solid vendor or themed night. Looking forward to the next visit!

This place is a hidden gem and a nice vibe for friends, dates, and meet-ups. The drinks were so smooth and expertly crafted. One drink got me right, which is rare. I didn’t go on a day when they had a food truck or a live performance, but I still enjoyed my time there. Just a warning, this place doesn’t serve food unless you go on a food truck day. I have no idea when those days are. My date and I ate at the Waffle House right across the parking lot after having our drinks. I didn’t know anything about the place before I went, but as you can see from my pics, there were a lot of beautiful black people in the building. My experience at Block and Drum was refreshing and I’d like to go back when there will be a good vendor.
