Crema's Take

This Salem gem blends musical passion with serious coffee craft, where vinyl records and turntables create an offbeat, plant-filled sanctuary that feels like discovering a friend's carefully curated living room. The baristas here are thoughtful collaborators who'll suggest half-caf options to preserve your drink's flavor or craft unexpected creations like honey sesame iced coffee, making each visit feel personalized rather than transactional. It's the kind of place where people linger over good espresso, browse records, and soak in the quirky, cozy atmosphere that keeps them coming back.

Love the coffee, the service, and the atmosphere! I didn't have time to properly look at the vinyl library, but I will absolutely be taking a proper look and listen when I go back. I can't wait!

Cute, quirky, and cozy. Got an iced gingerbread latte and asked for 1 shot instead of 2, and the barista kindly suggested half-caffeine to preserve the flavor profile. I loved the thoughtfulness and didn't feel pressured about it. The blueberry chai scone is super tasty! The vibes are immaculate and I wish I lived closer so I could come more often. Plenty of seating variety, lots of adorable aesthetic options and sparkling water on tap! Definitely recommend!

Offbeat Cafe is a plant lover's paradise and a hidden gem. Step inside and you're greeted by a lush, green oasis—a stunning collection of indoor plants fills every nook and cranny, making the space feel incredibly vibrant and alive. The atmosphere is further enhanced by the eclectic, interesting music playing softly in the background, a welcome change from the typical coffee shop playlists. The layout is fantastic, with multiple rooms that provide plenty of space and a different vibe in each one. Lots of people studying, a great place to concentrate and focus. The building itself is a beautiful example of thoughtful reuse, and you can sense its history. It's a great local spot that has been transformed into something unique. Getting here is a breeze, especially if you're on two wheels. Located right off a great bike lane, it's easily accessible via Salem's extensive bike network. While there's plenty of surface parking available, which is typical for the area, the bike-friendly access is a huge plus. A truly inspiring environment.

My fave Salem Cafe! Opens a little later but worth the wait. I adore the music theme, and their drinks are always fun and unique. I got a honey sesame iced coffee and a fig/pistachio/honey scone, both delicious and worth the price. Great place for studying or meeting with folks. Love the painted bathrooms

Such a cool coffee shop, I love the aesthetics, the record players, the records for sale. The coffee was good! The pastry was a little stale but if you got it fresh I think it would have been stellar! Will definitely be back to relax, have some coffee and browse the records again! I love the kid drink options as well!
