Crema's Take
“Nestled in Lake Placid, this intimate roastery trades rush for ritual, where the owner personally crafts each pour over with deliberate care and you can actually smell the freshly roasted beans filling the quiet, down-to-earth space. Regulars rave about the smooth, delicious small-batch coffee and the kind, unpretentious vibe—this is the kind of place where slowing down and watching your cup come together is half the experience, not an inconvenience.”

What a nice atmosphere. Down to earth, relaxed, and quiet. Love the local k-cups the guy running the place was kind and friendly.
Delicious small roaster. Pour over craft brewed. Smooth flavor. Do not be in a rush and relish watching the owner focus on every cup. Delightful!! Highly recommend. 10 minute walk from transit station.
We went to try the anarondack roaster last week because we were looking for good coffee, as we were tired of the stale moldy beans we get at the grocery stores. We walked in and it was quiet staff was in the back roasting fresh beans the nice lady described. We smelled the air and browsed their selection, it smelled right. We asked her when the beans were last roasted, and to our surprise she said they roast the beans weekly so everything was fresh! I saw that they had my second most favorite coffee bean, an Ethiopian blend. (My favorite beans are from Nicaragua) we purchased a whole pound for 20 bucks and brought it home. The blend smelled so good, it grinds nice, not too wet not too dry, and the flavor was not over roasted, it was just right. The coffee was true to its flavor, you can drink it black or with additives like milk. The accents are well noted and we have fully enjoyed our purchase, and will be going back for more! I highly recommend going here for a good bean! I appreciate good business when I see one.
I stopped by this place while visiting the town where I used to go to college. The coffee was amazing and the staff was friendly. The smell of the freshly roasted beans was incredible. I bought a bag of their beans to take home, and when I brewed it later, it still tasted great. I’m definitely ordering more coffee beans from their website!
This place is the real deal and I’m miffed that I haven’t been getting my coffee here for years! I am very picky about my coffee and have been drinking Vermont Coffee Company’s “Tres” for over ten years. In that time, I will try coffees that are easier to obtain or that catch my interest, but none ever hit the cozy cocoa notes of my favorite blend. Until I tried Adirondack Coffee Roasters’ Fire Side blend. Wow! A handmade quilt wrapped around your shoulders on a cool fall morning. A quiet cabin in the early hours before the world wakes up. Roasted locally and sold by friendly faces. It’s my new everyday drink!
