Tamiya’s Tasty Treats
102 W 3rd St, Austin, TX
Crema's Take
“Tamiya's Tasty Treats is a beloved coffee trailer where the owner's genuine warmth matches the quality of her excellent cold brew and signature breakfast sandwiches, especially the spicy Mexican one that locals rave about. Tucked into a charming Austin street perfect for people-watching, it strikes that rare balance between a quick caffeine stop and a place worth lingering, where you might find yourself chatting with Tamiya herself about the stories behind her menu.”

Super cool place. Sweet heart owner. Actually a really cool experience. Tamiya (the owner) told us how she named the breakfast sandwiches.. great story.
Good food and service. However, my Irish cream drink was a little too sweet for my liking. But that's just personal preference.
Strolling around I happened upon this amazing coffee/brekfast trailer. The coffee is excellent but the star of the show was the breakfast sandwich. The spicy Mexican sandwich was incredible and quite possibly the most flavorful breakfast sandwich I've ever had. If you're on the go, make sure to get some wet napkins or something. This sandwich is massive.
I absolutely loved this little gem of a coffee truck! Tucked away in nice people watching street in Austin, it’s the perfect cozy stop for a morning pick-me-up. I had an iced vanilla latte made with local coffee—it was smooth, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweet. The breakfast bagel with egg, bacon, and cream cheese was fresh and delicious—comforting and satisfying without being too heavy. The vibe is super cute and inviting, and the owner is warm and welcoming. It’s clear she cares about quality and the local community. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!
This is the best coffee spot in downtown Austin! The coffee is delicious, and the menu has a wide variety of food too. The owner (who runs the truck) is kind and lovely to chat with. She also has a rewards card that gives you your 10th drink on the house! A WAY better deal than Starbucks’, and bonus, you get to support a small-business owner in the city. My personal favorite is the raspberry white mocha, but you can’t go wrong with any of her options!
