RBG Bar & Grill
427 N 44th St, Phoenix, AZ
Crema's Take
“This Phoenix neighborhood spot shines brightest as a genuine gathering place where attentive staff go the extra mile—whether helping stranded travelers extend their evening or creatively rearranging tables for larger groups. The kitchen turns out craveable comfort food with real care, from crispy dry rub wings to well-seasoned burgers, making it feel less like a typical bar and grill and more like a place where people actually want to linger over drinks and conversation.”

Unexpected visit due to airline issues and flight cancelation. Restaurant was busy and out of most food, but they got us taken care of. Great service! Bar was taken over by stranded travelers. Limited tables and some travelers felt as if they needed a whole table to themselves. The bar should consider asking/telling squatters to move along so others can have a table.
The waitress in the restaurant was sweet. She told us they were closing in an hour and if we moved to the bar we could visit longer. We noticed there was not room for 6. She said we could push tables together in the bar. We went to the lounge and moved a couple tables together. The manager was very rude and demanded in a unprofessional way that the tables be moved out. He then sat at the bar and did not offer to help move the tables to where he wanted them to go. He continued to glare at us thru the meal. It made for an uncomfortable experience. I would not go again. There are other options close by in the area where the food is better and the experience is more relaxing.
Dinner at RBG Bar and Grill was delicious. The Desert Dry rub wings were crispy as I requested and the sweet potato fries were on point as well. The staff was awesome and everything was hot and fresh. I will be back.!
We decided to eat here one night while visiting Phoenix because it was close to our hotel. The atmosphere was a little more casual than we expected and our server was also the bartender. The food was mediocre at best. They claimed to not have any burgers except all of sudden they had some after my husband ordered the more expensive steak dish. The chicken wings had a good flavor but the texture was very rubbery. The pepperoni flatbread that I had was good but standard. They had a dessert menu but we didn't see anything we wanted so we skipped that part. We will probably not be back if we're ever in Phoenix again.
Solid burger and fries. The burger was cooked a little over medium that I ordered but it didn’t matter, the seasoning and toppings more than made up for it. The fries were lightly dredged and the chipotle aioli was great. Very surprised and impressed with the quality at a hotel restaurant. And the bartender/server was friendly and efficient.
