Crema's Take

Woodland Play Cafe is a serene sanctuary where parents can actually relax while their kids play in a meticulously clean, naturally lit space designed with thoughtful detail at every turn. The coffee here matches the care evident throughout—genuinely good and fairly priced—making it easy to linger for hours without feeling rushed, whether you're nursing a cortado while your toddler explores or settling in for a longer playdate with reliable wifi and genuine warmth from the staff. It's the kind of place that transforms your whole day simply by how intentionally it's been created.

We have been members here for two months and visited many, many times. My cortisol level reduces every time I walk in the door, I believe. It is calm, clean, and everyone is so friendly. The latter having so much to do with the owner cultivating this kind of community. The coffee and treats are a bonus. My two littles love coming here. I'm so grateful for the space to get their energy out and I always leave happy too!

We've been to a variety of indoor play spaces and the Woodland Play Cafe was quite nice. I appreciated that it was very clean, bright, easy to see my children and that the bathrooms were tidy and accommodating. I loved the big and little door ways for kids to go through and I do think it would be nice if there was some kind of gate just to help keep everyone in. We went on a rainy Sunday so I'm sure it was peak busy time. As someone from out of town I did have some trouble figuring out where to park. The lady at the register was super sweet but did seem a bit overwhelmed, maybe additional staff on a rainy weekend day could be helpful. The shoe cubby area was overflowing between shoes, bags and coats which makes me wonder if more cubbies or hooks could be utilized to increase storage space. It definitely has latte mom and beige baby vibes which is totally fine but worth noting if you're looking for a bouncy, bright and loud indoor playspace. Overall my children and I really enjoyed the Woodland Play Cafe and I really appreciated the pride flag in the window.

Had my first visit here for a playdate and liked it a lot more than I expected! The space is extremely clean, thoughtfully laid out with lots of natural light, and the bathrooms are very accommodating for newly potty-trained toddlers. It’s also not overly stimulating, which I really appreciated as both a parent and for my child. The only reason I deducted a star is the price of entry. This is the most expensive indoor play space/café I’ve visited in Nashville and the surrounding areas - and I’ve been to most of them. It was over $30 for two hours of play for one child, and my friend with twins paid over $50, which feels very steep. In my experience, the average cost for a two-hour play session is typically $15–$20 per child, often with a big sibling discount. I understand that monthly memberships can make it more affordable for frequent visitors, but for an occasional playdate, the price point is hard to justify. That said, our experience was genuinely lovely, and I would still recommend it. It’s definitely a top contender for hosting my daughter’s 3rd birthday. The atmosphere is wonderful, however, the cost is just significantly higher than comparable options in the area.

This place is AMAZING! We stopped here on our road trip from SD to SC and im so glad we chose here to let my son get out and play. He is 13 months and this set up is perfect for his age and developmental abilities! They had a big wooden slide that was the biggest hit of the day. They also had a little play grocery store with buggies for the kids to push around. It was perfect for my son to push, hes learning to walk. It was very very clean. The staff were almost constantly cleaning during our visit. They have a special bucket for toys that have gone in babies mouths, so they can be cleaned. Most of the toys were wooden. The music they played was very soft and not overly stimulating. And there was not a single screen to be seen!!!! They offer good coffee and lunch. The adult menu was good, the kid menu was amazing. Everything offered was healthy, and everything the food was served on was compostable. The bathroom was a great size and they had a nice changing table and diapers! Diapers and wipes, which was so helpful so I didnt have to worry about lugging around a diaper bag. The staff were also spectacular! When I walked in they were super friendly, and told me the rules and how to check in. As I was juggling a squirming baby one of the staff members offered to hold him and put on his socks while I signed the waiver! All mom's know little help like that goes a very very long way! When we ordered food they told us when it was ready and had the table all set up for us! The high chair was freshly cleaned, as was the table. We played for 2 hours and it did the trick wearing out my little man for the second leg of today's drive! I wish this place was at all of my stops! When I road trip back through Nashville I think im going to come back here again! Id give it 6 stars if I could!
