No frills, just excellent people serving truly excellent food, coffee, and chai! It’s a warm & welcoming neighborhood spot and the focus on quality is evident. The sambusas are next level- I mean so seriously good- and your only struggle will be picking one. Definitely a great spot to support!

Already been to Hattie B’s for Nashville Hot Chicken and looking for something out of the ordinary. Then head on over to The Horn for a great cup of Spicy Hot Chai and some sweets. Nice people and great snacks.

Hidden Gem in Nashville – Incredible Somali Sambusas & Chai I visited The Horn in Nashville, TN, a cozy café serving authentic Somali sambusas and a wide variety of chai, and it was absolutely worth going out of the way for. I ordered the brown sugar chai, Dubai cheesecake, and six sambusas. We tried the beef sambusa, chicken sambusa, and veggie sambusa, and every single one was amazing. The pastry is perfectly crisp and flaky, and the fillings are incredibly flavorful and well-seasoned. If you’re unfamiliar with a sambusa, it’s very similar to an Indian samosa, but The Horn’s version truly stands out. They also offer fun American-inspired sambusa flavors like BBQ, Philly cheesesteak, and breakfast sambusas, which makes this spot great for both adventurous eaters and first-timers. Between the Somali food, the chai selection, and the welcoming café atmosphere, The Horn is easily one of the best places in Nashville for sambusas and unique desserts. Highly recommend for anyone looking for something different and delicious in Nashville!

I went in to see how good the sambusas are that people were raving about. It did not disappoint and exceeded my expectations. I got the 3 for 11 deal, one bbq chicken, one beef and another cheese steak. Cheese steak was good considering Im also not a big fan of cheese steaks. The chai, Idk, maybe Im not a chai drinker, so it was ok. Dubai chocolate cheese cake was great but to sweet for me personally.

My husband wanted to go cafe hopping for his birthday, this was our first stop and it did not disappoint! We got a bbq chicken and beef sambusa, and they were both super crispy and very fresh. The mandazi was lightly sweet and went very nicely with the Somali chai we got! The chai itself was definitely one of the best I’ve had in Nashville! I enjoyed it so much I bought a bag of it! And the service was awesome, everyone is super nice! I couldn’t believe we’d never been before, we’ll definitely be back often!
