Crema's Take
“Strawberry Cafe feels like gathering in a warm Southern home, where the staff genuinely knows regulars by name and the owners create an atmosphere of real hospitality that keeps families coming back. Beyond the reliable coffee and pastries, they're known for unexpected culinary touches like fried green tomatoes topped with lump crab meat and creative brunch dishes that balance boldness with restraint. It's the kind of place where a redheaded barista remembers your order and the whole team makes you feel like you belong there.”

Quick and friendly service. The redheaded gentleman working the bar was incredibly helpful and kind. My order came out perfect. Will be returning for sure
As always, the cafe, the food, and the service were impeccable! The GM and the owner have learned us and our child and make us feel warm and welcomed every time we dine here. 10 out of 10 for a place that deserves WAY more exposure than just being our secret getaway!!!
10 out of 10 delicious! Started with the Fried green tomatoes with topped lump crab meat. It was very unexpected! Mild flavor. Perfectly balanced! Then I had the Pasta Creole and a Greek Side Salad with Sweet Onion Vinaigrette Dressing. Mine was extra big portions...and I had to take a to go box. My husband had the Black Fish Special. It was on a bed of Mushrooms and Artichokes and some kind of cream sauce. He loved it. Said it was Excellent! Only thing he said was he thought it should have came with a side salad. No sides at all with it.
I had an absolutely amazing experience dining here. I got the chance to eat here with my family for brunch. All the staff were very polite and courteous. The food came out and it tasted amazing. I enjoyed every minute here.
I came to this establishment around 1:30pm with a party of about 10 for brunch; there was enough seating. The inside atmosphere gave that of a large cozy southern home-- you know, the ones with the huge front porch with matching rocking chairs-- yup, very home-like. Audibly, you hear the clashing of glasses being washed at the bar and the distant undertones of chatter from patrons alike. The service, well, could have been better. Seeing that they close at 2:30 pm, that could have been the case. I felt welcome, but not. I had the feeling of being rushed. Quick service is great, but it could lend a fast food establishment aura if there is not a “happy medium”. Waitresses did not introduce themselves, and almost-finished meal plates were removed quickly as if another course was en route. After a quick meal, I enjoy lazing for a while as my digestive system responds to my meal. But, that was not the case. After plates were removed and checks were checked, we were told to have a good day. Well, I did enjoy my meal, but I do not think the chefs would have received that reassurance since we were not asked. Before my departure, I was asked to remove the salt and pepper from the table and kindly relinquish them to the other waitress. Upon my egress, I was pleasantly greeted by two that appeared to be chefs, and they were very personable. Would I visit again? Sure! After a few delicious mimosas, I'm sure I would have blatant disregard for the aforementioned details.
