Crema's Take

Tucked into a quiet Kansas City corner, Sister Anne's masterfully pairs vinyl discovery with excellent coffee in a genuinely inviting space that feels both nostalgic and alive. Whether you're settling in by the front windows with a perfectly pulled espresso and jazz drifting through the shop, or grabbing a specialty drink like their beloved strawberries & cream Italian soda alongside fresh pastries, the experience strikes that rare balance of being equally perfect for a solo coffee date or a lingering family outing. The carefully curated record collection and local goods make this feel like the kind of place you stumble upon and immediately adopt as your own.

Great ambiance. Delicious hot chocolate! Overall, a great choice to pick up a vinyl and a cup of joe. I originally thought there was not enough seating, but I stand corrected!

My idea of a perfect store: coffee and records. Great testing espresso with a nice collection of Jazz records. I will definitely come back the next time that I am in KC.

sister anne’s is where we go for our family coffee dates. there are cute cafe table tops by the front windows, outdoor seating. records, cd’s, merch, local creations, etc. the coffee is great, the banana walnut bread (my fave), lemon poppy and coffee cake are delicious.

They make a lovely Americano and iced latte. We also tried the coffee cake and banana walnut bread. The strawberries & cream Italian Soda was rich and delicious!

In a quiet and beautiful corner of old Kansas City, many old records are neatly placed in wooden boxes, and nostalgic jazz has been playing. My husband and I drank black coffee and sat by the window chatting. It was a very pleasant afternoon in June and I wanted to go again.
