Yoka Tea

Crema's Take
“Tucked into a quiet Seattle neighborhood, Yoka Tea blends Filipino-Korean influences with specialty espresso to create genuinely distinctive drinks like the Turon Matcha and black sesame latte, using beans sourced from San Francisco's Sight Glass. The cozy interior and thoughtful vibe make it an ideal spot for lingering over creative seasonal specials, whether you're sipping a balanced sac sac slushy or a perfectly crafted matcha. Beyond the drinks themselves, you'll discover shelves lined with Asian pantry treats, turning each visit into a small adventure.”

I got the sac sac slushy and the strawberry matcha! Sac sac tasted more like honeydew than green grape (sortve like the hi chew honey dew candy) on the sweet side but the salty cream helps balance. I can see this being popular in the summer! Strawberry matcha, the strawberry tastes like jam but isn’t overly sweet. Matcha is also very strong but balanced, overall my fav matcha shop in Seattle compared to the others :)
I recently went here with my boyfriend and we both got matchas! The interior is amazing and such a cute space with a cozy vibe to it. I will say, the matcha was quite expensive and both matchas cost us around 20 dollars total pre tip. Nonetheless it was probably one of the best matchas I’ve had in Seattle but the powder itself is slightly bitter but mixed in with the rest of the drink it blends wonderfully. The staff were also super sweet! Will be coming back to this amazing place.
Nice chill coffee shop in the quiet neighborhood. Coffee bean from Sight Glass - San Francisco. Ordered black sesame latte, tasted great with a strong sesame flavor, make sure you do stir the cup for better mix. Will definitely try out their matcha and coffee bean bag next visit!
Superlative Filipino-Korean drinks and espresso. You'll find unique drinks, like the fabulous Turon Matcha tea. They also have cool shelves filled with Asian pantry treats. There is such a great vibe in this place - there is a big crowd and it is diverse. Make sure to check out the artsy capsule machine! Downsides: It is hard to get seating and parking is difficult... But the unique offerings are worth the trouble.
I’ve visited Yoka a couple times before, but today I returned to try the fall special — banana bread latte, and yet again I am amazed by the quality and flavor of the beverages offered. Everyone talks about how good the matcha is here, but don’t skip the coffee! The espresso is so flavorful and rich and the banana bread latte is beautifully balanced with the sweet flavor (no artificial banana taste) and the strong espresso. Every time I come here I am met with the same incredible service and beautiful atmosphere of this cafe. The owner goes above and beyond to make personal connections with every customer. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place.
