Crema's Take

This Lawrence bakery and café is beloved for its genuinely exceptional baked goods—particularly cinnamon rolls that reviewers rave are perfectly balanced, never doughy or oversweetened—paired with a surprisingly solid café menu that includes standouts like their Cuban sandwich. What really sets it apart is the passionate, attentive staff who clearly care about quality, though fair warning that food orders can be slow during busy times, so arrive with patience if you're grabbing breakfast. It's the kind of place where you'll happily pay a bit more because you can taste the care in everything from the pastries to the espresso drinks.

If you are wanting a warm up, today, Friday, Jan 30, the special is chili and cinnamon rolls. It’s the best cinnamon roll I have eaten…not too doughy, not too sweet, but perfectly balanced. It’s perfect for a cold day.

They have great customer service and products. Some may blink at the price but given the quality of their goods their actually quite fair

I appreciated the customer service I received today and the gentleman that helped me was very passionate about the food they serve there. We need more people like him in customer service. The chicken pecan salad sandwich I had was very good

They are very nice but painfully slow at making there food menu items. No one else was waiting for food and took over 15 minutes for pancakes and one egg and cheese sandwich. If you have plenty of time to spare than OK give them a try but if in a rush do not go there.

Went in here to try this first time on a busy Saturday. Was very quick only took about 12 to 15 minutes to get my order. I got the Cuban and was highly impressed. Will be back to buy bakery goods and try their sweet treats as well, but I would recommend going here for the hot sandwiches and the excellent pricing.
