Z's Divine Espresso

I came here a couple times and a young gentleman was very nice and made great lattes. I went in to get a latte and pick up some bagels I had pre-ordered one day, and a young lady was working the coffee bar and made my coffee and then intentionally ignored me for almost 20 minutes as I was just waiting to pay. I had to try multiple times to get her attention and when I finally did, she was very rude to me and blamed me for not getting her attention even though I had been trying. The whole experience was so bizarre that it put me off of returning. (Also, my bagels that I ordered days ahead, were not ready :( )

Z’s Divine Espresso & Coffee Shop is one of those local spots that keeps people coming back for a reason. The coffee is consistently great, well priced, and made with care, whether you’re stopping in or using the convenient drive-thru. The atmosphere inside is warm and inviting, making it a comfortable place to sit and relax or catch up with friends. On top of the coffee, their fresh New York–style bagels are a standout and pair perfectly with any drink. What really makes Z’s special is that it feels genuinely local. Friendly service, quality drinks, and attention to detail all come together to create a place that feels familiar and welcoming. It’s easy to see why so many people consider this a go-to coffee spot in Lawrence. Highly recommend if you want great coffee, good food, and a relaxed, friendly environment.

One of my favorite places in Lawrence, hands down. The staff are super friendly, quality is obviously a priority, bagels are to die for, and I'm never waiting longer than expected for great coffee. Shout out to the early morning crew, you guys are great!

Added a tip without my permission. Ordered the smallest coffee and a biscuit with egg (no cheese) and spent $11. I thought the price was too high, then got an email confirming they added their own tip to the total. Lost my business for good.

Stopped in with my 2 young children for a quick breakfast treat. Got a scone, muffin, smoothie and breakfast sandwich with a Flat white. Everything was pretty good, my favorite being the sandwich and flat white! They have my girls some stickers which was extra awesome! We dined in but there is a drive through option.
