Blue Whale Cafe
2420 E Stadium Blvd, Ann Arbor, MI
Crema's Take
“Blue Whale Cafe feels like a neighborhood secret in Ann Arbor, where friendly staff and a genuinely good vibe make you want to linger on Sunday mornings when other spots are packed. They shine with creative options like açaí bowls and thoughtful vegan selections alongside solid coffee and fresh juices, though the prices run high for the area. It's the kind of place where the atmosphere and care from the team matter as much as what's in your cup.”

The staff were kind and everything came out promptly! Music is very good too :) Maybe I didn’t see anywhere that my matcha would be unsweetened lol but still fine.
An eco friendly café with fresh juices, smoothies, coffee, and various food items. The staff was friendly, informative, and quick. The floors and tables were a little dirty but not enough to keep me from coming back!
This cafe is a hidden gem in AA. I typically go on Sunday mornings when many other coffee shops are very busy, as I’ve found Blue Whale rarely has a long line. The staff are very friendly and pleasant. Have gotten the avocado toast, smoothies, and espresso-based drinks and all were excellent. Would highly recommend!
Food is good love the açaí bowls the coffee isn’t bad. The price is a bit high but it’s an arbor. The staff is wonderful and the vibe is great. Only complaint is my bowl had some moldy fruit but it happens.
This place is really cool! The vibe is interesting and they have lots of options to choose from. Especially vegan stuff (and a whole section on the menu for kids) I think overall it's very expensive. The coffee wasn't good and way too hot. The smoothie was made with ice which I did not enjoy. I think a smoothie shouldn't have ice blended into it but maybe that's something you can ask for if you don't enjoy that sorta thing. Overall the banana muffins were great but it's also very very pricey. Edit: the smoothie was definitely cold and had something frozen in it. I understand that your products are healthy and therefore more pricey but you need to understand that not everyone can afford it/ is looking for that kind of thing in a Café. I'm sure you take pride in the quality of your products which is why you should take criticism seriously instead of responding in a snarky way. I gave a 4 star review and not a 1 star.
