Crema's Take
“This DC roastery has earned serious devotion for its bold, complex pour-overs and signature draft lattes that showcase genuinely high-quality beans with impressive smoothness and minimal acidity. The baristas clearly know their craft and will steer you toward exactly what you want to drink, while the brick-lined space tucked into an artsy alleyway creates an inviting spot that's equally good for a quick caffeine fix or lingering over conversation. Pair your impeccable espresso with their standout pastries and brownies, and you'll understand why people keep coming back.”

The draft latte pictured here is a large and after patiently waiting for over 10 minutes without taking a sip, I am now left with only half of a drinkable latte. The whole point of the draft latte is that there is nitro infused in it similar to draft beer one would get at a bar. The difference is that bars would never serve a beer with over 50 percent of the drink being foam. The location in noma and on I st never seem to have this issue. I encourage the staff to maybe look into the kegs and machine setup itself, or simply pour the draft latte how you would a beer typically. To help alleviate all the foam.
The coffee here is so high quality and complex in flavor, definitely a must -try. The baristas all know their stuff and always give great recommendations. Amazing place!
The best coffee i have ever tried in US. Rich, bold flavor, the morning kick you wanna without the accidity... Amazing barista and staff and the brownie is to die for. The pastries are too dry for my taste, no crunch, no rich flavor, just a cry for some butter.
This is a super cute coffee shop with great brick layout, huge windows, and nestled in a artsy decorated alleyway. The staff is super friendly straight when you walk in and the coffee itself is pretty good as well. Rich and creamy with ornate mugs. The only thing that felt lacking was the Danish. It was a bit on the dry side and didn't have the richness we were hoping for. Either way it was still a great spot.
This place has one of the best coffees that we've had in DC. The draft coffee is amazingly smooth and creamy. The coffee is fragrant and thoroughly enjoyable, although I usually prefer my coffees to be stronger and bolder in taste. It's not the easiest to find the place considering you have to pass a smaller alleyway to the back to see it. Would definitely be back for another cup before I leave this place. Plenty of art on the walls outside the cafe - a bonus.
