Crema's Take

This beloved Wilmington institution has built a loyal following around genuinely excellent bagels and omelets, with regulars praising the passionate grill work and consistently warm service from staff members like Ms. Jen who clearly know their customers by name. While it's a quick-grab spot perfect for families and casual breakfast lovers, the real magic happens when you linger over their phenomenal bagels and plant-based options in a place where the crew's care for what they do is as satisfying as the food itself.

I've been coming here for years and it's always been good but lately it's been better. The guy behind the grill is such a pleasure and you can tell he cares deeply about what he does and how the food tastes. I went in this morning and not only was he cooking, but he also checked me out. He had nothing but a great attitude and was bobbing his head to the music like he had not a care in the world. We need more people in Wilmington that work like this. Give this man a raise!!!

Its been on my list of places to visit for monthes and finally hit it up this morning! Im so glad I checked it out because their bagels were PHENOMENAL! As a fellow vegan, I got their plant based bagel sandwich and it was cooked perfectly! So so good, I actually got one to go because of it! I loved the service, food and vibes. Such a muggy day out, but so charming inside!!

I ordered bagels online this morning and clarified in the comments that I wanted no egg due to a severe allergy and my bagel had egg on it. The website is hard to order on. The people working were not friendly and just clearly didn’t try while making the food. You can tell when someone tries and when they don’t, and they clearly weren’t trying, and I don’t appreciate that.

Went to see Ms. Jen & the crew at BB’s today. Changed up my regular order & went with the Western omelet today, it was scrumptious! The food is always good but the service is second to none. Seagate’s finest establish!!

Very disappointed on my experience I had today we come here every Sunday and have noticed a decline in quality on the food for a while but the experience we had today definitely has made us find a place to take our business elsewhere. We arrived today at 12:40 pm and were unaware that this location closed at 1pm. They did have a small sign on the door but we miss it. As we were ordering I could tell the cashier was a bit upset. They kept rolling their eye at us. We started ordering when a call came in and the other cashier Ashley rudely let the person on the phone know they were going to close at 1 and could order if they would be there before 1 to pick up. I told my husband we should probably take it to go since they were closing soon. While ordering Not once did the cashier register let us know or say the food would be Togo or that they would be closing soon. As we waited for our food the family who had ordered before us received there food from one of the cook and almost walked away but came back to let them know “we are close” as they started to eat and told them they could eat inside as long as they made it fast. What a very rude way of handling things and told top it off. You could hear a female cook on the phone with someone complaining. That cook came back out as she cooking out food kept asking Ashley if she had told us they were close and why she let us order. The family also got upset about the way they were talked too and all could have been avoided if they had people who knew how to work in the food service. And as we’re ordering let us know not assume we read the note on the door that they were closing at 1. I would be ok to saw no problem I’ll take it Togo. Once we got our food we were missing our beagles with our fiesta omelette and it looked like she just scrambled everything and throw it in a box. Instead of being on the phone complaining remember your in the service industry you have a job because of the costumers that come everyday and bring business into the place your employed and if that stops the business would lose money and may no longer have a job. I may not have much effect in taking my business else where but for the owner if you have employees like this represent you it says a lot about you as well and how better not to come to an establishment were it’s ok to treat people this way.
