Crema's Take

This charming roastery on the edge of Santa Fe's Old Town has earned devoted fans for its thoughtfully crafted espresso drinks and the legendary green chile croissants that keep people coming back for more. The space itself invites lingering with comfortable seating and a genuinely welcoming vibe, making it equally suited for serious coffee conversation or a quiet moment with a seasonal pour over. Beyond the excellent house-roasted beans, their pastry game is genuinely exceptional—flaky, buttery croissants stuffed with local ingredients and a rotating menu of seasonal treats like apple chai cider that capture the spirit of New Mexico.

Amazing coffee, friendly staff🤗, and the green chile croissants are absolutely delicious😋 I couldn’t stop at just one! Can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu next time we’re in town.

This is a sweet little Cafe downtown. We tried drip coffee, a seltzer/espresso beverage, almond croissant/ Danish and a smothered breakfast burrito. The best things were the almond pastry and the espresso seltzer. The drip coffee was weak, acidic and fruity. Highly caffeinated but not satisfying for me. The burrito had an overpowering oregano/ thyme flavor in the chile sauces. That permeated the burrito itself. The bottom of the burrito was tough and impossible to eat. The atmosphere is really nice here, it has a 90's vibe. The outdoor patio is a calm space, dogs allowed. Parking can be a bit limited. Located a stones throw from the Santa Fe cooking school. I will definitely go back and try other items.

Very nice place to relax for a while. The croissant was very flaky and fluffy and the seasonal apple chai cider is an absolute treat. Unlike many coffee shops in Santa Fe, this place has cushioned benches, though it is a bit odd how tall the benches are. There's a lovely spot right under the heater that I like because I'm always freezing, and there's a lot of people that hang out here on laptops so it's pretty quiet other than the ambient music.

Comfortable and welcoming cafe on the Old Town’s edge. Well made baked goods to include the green chile & cheese croissant. It presented a flaky exterior with a light and fluffy interior. The green chile added just a hint of heat and flavor. The Americano ended up being a light brown bean water on the disappointing side. Two outdoor patios for seating along with interior seating.

Another lucky find for us! After visiting the Georgia Okeefe museum, this place was right next door, so it was a choice of convenience. Lucky us!! The craft coffee is terrific. And, the beans are roasted and ground on site. We each had food as well. I had the green chili breakfast burrito and Les had a turkey and provolone sandwich on a toasted croissant. Both were great. Staff is very friendly and proficient. Highly recommend!!
