Bigwood Bread Bakery & Cafe

Crema's Take
“Bigwood Bread is a beloved Ketchum gathering spot where the real stars are the house-made baked goods—their sourdough is genuinely exceptional, and the chocolate croissants and breakfast burritos keep locals coming back. The relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff make it perfect for lingering over coffee and pastries, though opinions on the coffee itself are mixed, so come for the bread and stay for the vibe.”

I've been here several times. Bread and baked goods are delicious. Don't bother getting coffee here. It sucks. The staff consistently gets drink orders incorrect and will serve cold drinks hot and vice versa. Their consistency with to go orders is okay, I've had stuff come out on time and other times they have completely forgotten about my order. If your order is forgotten you should expect rushed-quality food to make up for it. I only recommend this place for bread loaves and baked goods. It is forgettable as a cafe.
I absolutely love this place, it was my favorite breakfast spot during my stay in Ketchum! Best breakfast burrito I've had and their chocolate croissants are delicious. Yummy coffee as well. The atmosphere is super cozy and staff is very friendly! Would give more than 5 stars if I could!
Everything I've eaten here is delicious! Their sourdough is the best I've ever had. Everyone is always friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxing.
First year in many years that we purchased pies and disliked all 3 pies. Something has changed with the recipes, no flavor in pumpkin pie- no taste of cinnamon and other pumpkin pie like flavors. No actual cherries in the cherry pie- almost like canned gel cherries were used- whole organic cherries were previously used in past pies. Lastly, pecan pie didn't have the custard like filling that it usually does. The photos might be deceiving but the taste is not what we expected for $16/pie. We not expect to buy pies from here again, and will not recommend to others.
Loved this place. All the menu items looked delicious. We ordered the breakfast burrito, turkey club, chili, egg salad sandwich and panini sandwich. Great portions of food, fresh ingredients and my friends were raving about the fries. This restaurant reminds me of how Panera Bread started out back in the day. Fresh, delicious home cooked meals. (Unfortunately, Panera is not so good now.) Waitstaff are super friendly. The interior decor is cozy and I loved seeing the boutique type items for sale. Btw grab a bag of ginger snap cookies. Yummy snack on our plane ride home.
