Crema's Take

Pistachio Sweets is a beautifully designed dessert destination where luxury presentation meets indulgent flavors, earning devoted fans for their standout Dubai chocolate crepes and top-tier chocolate selections that elevate the typical sweet shop experience. Beyond coffee, they excel at creative specialty drinks and carefully crafted pastries that justify the leisurely sit-down atmosphere, though you'll want to arrive with realistic expectations about sweetness levels if you're accustomed to heavy-handed sugar ratios. The recently renovated space impresses with thoughtful interior design details, making it feel like a proper lounge rather than a quick-service stop.

The yummiest dubai chocolate crepe!!! Better than melt n dip somehow! The sushi rolls were phenomenal as well, the chocolate they use is top tier. I got a half brownie half pistachio crepe, a dubai chocolate crepe, and a go Nanas sushi rolls. They let us sample the damascene ice cream, it was delicious. Getting that the next time I come!

I would say this place is pretty great! They give plenty of chocolate here. We got a vanilla milkshake, and was good. I will say if you’re used to very sugary milkshakes then you will think it lacks some sugar intake in this one. I personally ordered the small Dubai strawberry and like I said, it had lots of chocolate, but also lots of kataifi. I enjoyed that a lot cause it adds texture. Also grabbed a crepe with Nutella and added kataifi and strawberry, it was delicious! If you don’t like as much chocolate maybe you can suggest to add less chocolate. Lastly, ordered a baklava, it was okay. Very very sweet! It is a little on the pricier side, but they add a lot. For 4 things, it came to a total of $50

Stopped by Pistachio Sweets because we were craving something sweet and it totally hit the spot. They recently renovated, so it had been closed for a while—but everything looks refreshed and the service was noticeably better compared to the last time we were here. The girls demolished their ice cream gelatos (chocolate + cookies & cream) and kept saying how much they loved it. 😄 My husband and I shared the lokma with pistachios + Nutella—honestly, one order is perfect for two people. And I’m saying that as someone with a serious sweet tooth… I couldn’t even finish half my portion because it’s that rich. Also: they have free drinking water available, which is such a nice touch for cleansing your palate after all that sweetness. We’ll be back!

The interior design is really nice. The tile on the bathroom even is really nice. Plates and cups are furniture are nice. However the plasticware totally clashes with this. In general, I would prefer silverware when eating cake. Tea was fine. They don't have pots of tea or loose leaf. The desserts were ok, nothing special. A bit dry.

I read some of the negative reviews. Some I can see the service lacking. Others gave 1 star just because they failed to look up the hours and automatically assumed they’ll open or remain open for their entitlement. Yeah, not how it works. You can’t just go there and start pounding the doors in the morning, when they open in the late afternoon (week days). Or be one of those people that come close to closing time and assume the kitchen will remain open. Like any regular restaurant, the staff will start cleaning up close to the closing time and lock the doors. I believe 3.5-4 is a fair rating. It was busy on a Saturday night, so it took awhile for them to make our drinks. I took pictures with the timestamps so it took 14 mins. We finished our desserts way before that. The other thing is the case that has the fruit cakes, milk cakes, etc, it would be nice if they posted prices for all of them. So, the drinks were moderate for $6 each. The banana fruit cake was $10 and the mango was about $13-15 range. The banana really did taste like banana on the inside. The mango one had some real mango chunks inside, overall the taste could be stronger like the banana. Drinks were great. We got the lotus milkshake and passion fruit mocktail. The milkshake was a lot smoother and not as thick than most American style milkshakes. Service was very friendly. Prices were moderate to expensive. Honestly, the people complaining about how super expensive it is, they should not go in the first place if the place has luxury in the name. The website and the shop both said “luxury dessert lounge.”
