Java Cafe

Crema's Take
“Java Cafe is a charming neighborhood spot in Mishawaka where Instagram-worthy decor meets genuinely creative drinks—think sugar cookie lattes in comically oversized cups and signature specialty concoctions alongside traditional favorites. The cozy atmosphere, with hanging flowers and design-magazine-worthy booths, makes it a natural gathering place, though the premium pricing and occasional execution inconsistencies mean you're paying for the experience and ambiance as much as the coffee itself. Their buttery breakfast croissants and pastries pair perfectly with leisurely sit-down visits, making it ideal for meetings or lingering with friends.”

Super cute and delicious coffee. You're going to choke a little when you see the price, but I promise, it IS that delicious. Comfy chairs, can be a smidge crowded at times, especially since people will park themselves at a table with their laptops. But definitely work a stop for a yummy coffee, especially if you're looking for a better atmosphere and more comfortable chairs than chocolate cafe (which I still love, but, it has limitations)
This place has an incredible atmosphere and awesome products! I had the delicious croissant breakfast sandwich and a sugar cookie latte that was so big I couldn’t get both my hands around the cup! I definitely recommend it as a good spot to work or study. The environment is modern and elegant and at night it transforms into Sidebar, a sleek place for quiet conversations and fun drinks. 10/10 recommend!
Be so for real right now. $11 for a tossed together breakfast croissant I couldn’t even pick up and eat, half burned? $6 for crunchy mocha powder not stirred up floating in my ice mocha? In this economy? With subpar service that got worse when I only tipped $2 on my to-go order? Atmosphere is 10/10 but won’t go back. Too many coffee places in this town to settle for this.
My husband and I stopped into Java for the first time. We each had a breakfast croissant and it was so good! The croissant was so buttery and the thick cut bacon was delicious. It was quite busy but the staff were very nice and attentive. I can’t wait to eat there again. Highly recommend!
This place is so cute — the decor is seriously next level. Hanging flowers, cozy booths, and a bar setup that looks like it came out of a design magazine. Definitely Instagram worthy. Drinks were good, but a bit on the expensive side, and service was kinda slow. Not a huge deal if you’re just chilling or catching up with friends, but maybe not the best if you’re in a hurry. Overall, a great vibe-y spot if you’re in the mood to treat yourself and take it slow.
