Union Coffee House & Cafe

I always enjoy the coffee here. My favorites are probably the blackberry mocha, and rosemary latte, but they have plenty of tasty flavorings for espresso drinks or good straight coffee. Their bagel sandwiches make a tasty bite, I appreciate coffee shops that have savory options as well as sweet. It's located in a charming old building and the atmosphere is great for meeting a friend or working on your laptop. Prices are on the cheaper side compared to some other local shops. Definitely go give this business some extra support now that the Buchanan construction mess has cleared!

What a great spot! The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy and the staff was so friendly! The cook brought us our food and was super friendly as well! The bagel I had was amazing as was my husband's sandwich, but the deviled eggs stoled the show! The pricing was more than fair considering everything was made fresh.

Stopped in twice while visiting MI. My iced mocha with oat milk hit the spot! Also ordered the black bean avo toast and vegan carrot muffin, both delicious! I loved the interior and exterior of the building; it once operated as a bank. Cool vibes. Friendly staff.

This is my favorite coffee shop to stop at when I am in town. It has a great atmosphere, great service, and most importantly, excellent coffee. It is a place where you can grab a cup of coffee and go, or you can hang out for a while. They even have a selection of books and games for you if you wish to use them. It's definitely a place to go if you are in the area. I will continue to keep coming back.

Was out and about running errands, and found myself especially hungry yesterday morning, so I stopped into this cute little spot by the name of Union Coffee House & Cafe. Feeling the need for a pick-me-up, I opted for some coffee as well as a bite to eat. Today, I picked up The Love Affair latte, which has in addition to espresso has vanilla, almond, and nutmeg. With the vanilla and almond being more subtle flavors in the drink, it really allows the space for the nutmeg to be the star of the show in this delicious love triangle. Used oat milk for the base to make this a wonderful plant-based option. In between sips, I also enjoyed a carrot muffin, baked to soft perfection. For a vegan muffin, it was actually one of the better ones I've had. Oftentimes they can be a bit dry, but this little pastry was baked to perfection. With an earthy sweetness from the carrot, this muffin paired very well with The Love Affair for a great start to my day. Looking forward to stopping in again!
