Crema's Take

Curt's Café is a genuine neighborhood gathering spot in Wilmette where families, remote workers, and friends linger comfortably over thoughtfully made coffee and hearty breakfast food—their cold brew and café miel are standouts, and the staff's attentiveness extends to having crayons and blocks on hand for young visitors. Beyond the welcoming atmosphere with its mix of seating nooks, what sets this place apart is its purposeful community focus and a kitchen that takes breakfast seriously, from their surprisingly excellent breakfast burritos to proper cappuccinos, all served with genuine warmth that keeps people coming back.

Absolutely love the cause having been at risk myself. I stopped here in winter when they don’t get a lot of iced coffee or cold brew orders. They made a delicious tasting iced coffee. Nice people!

Wonderful neighborhood coffee! We had a chipotle wrap and a classic breakfast sandwich. I had a cafe miel and my wife had a cappuchino. We just slipped in before they closed for this year, enjoyed a very nice service. Glad to have that community coffee near us.

Curt’s Cafe will become a regular for me and my young family. I brought my 3 year old in there to meet a friend. They had crayons and blocks for her to play with. But the icing on the cake was that the staff was so friendly and welcoming to my toddler that she sat at the counter coloring with them, talking, singing, and dancing and they were just so sweet to her. It felt like home. She didn’t even realize I was still there haha. Wonderful place!!

There is a lovely atmosphere at Curt’s Cafe with tables, chairs, and a sofa. I ordered a Macha Late. It was the average and the same price as Starbucks. The menu on the wall is in small font and impossible to read. The pastries are few and nothing original. I did not try the food items on the menu, but they look appetizing. The sandwiches are from 11:50 to 13:50. I was the only person ordering them, so it was prompt—no security code for the bathroom, which is a pro.

Great breakfast burrito. Wasn’t expecting it to be this good. Quiet little cafe. Very polite staff. Just a great overall experience. Will be back again.
