Haute Coffee
2905 E Skyline Dr #287, Tucson, AZ
Crema's Take
“Haute Coffee in Tucson brings a distinctly European vibe with darker roasts that deliver bold, chocolatey notes without the bitterness, paired with gelato-infused specialty drinks that set them apart from typical local cafes. It's an inviting spot where you can linger over imported coffees and French pastries with family and friends, all at refreshingly reasonable prices for the quality and creativity they're offering.”

What’s not to love about a coffee shop where you can sip a variety of imported coffee flavors and indulge in tasty French pastries and real Italian gelato with family and friends while gazing at the majestic Santa Catalina Mountains against the background of the spectacular Sonoran Desert sky? Heaven.
I tried them when they first opened and the espresso was not good. And i decided to give them a second chance today and this is a picture of their foam on a cappuccino. They have a good machine im not sure why they cant pull a good espresso shot, make a decent foam, or do latte art. Espresso is super bitter. So if you add sugar or get a flavor it probably covers it up but for just a regular cappuccino or latte i wont be going here here. Maybe for iced tea or lemonade but not coffee.
What's with the one star reviews?! If you want European styled coffee, come here. Roasts are on the darker side and yield a beautifully robust and bold chocolate and low acidity taste. Not bitter. Not a biting, citrus-y taste. You can select from medium or dark (their medium runs pretty dark btw) to have your coffee made. Very fair pricing. Pastries are allegedly from France. I tried the croissant and it was the best I've had so far (I have tried MANYYY!). Big deal if you actually like coffee- they don't splash piping hot espresso right on the ice. My iced americano was excellent and made correctly. I'll be back many more times. This is my new favorite shop. :)
Love Haute coffee!! They use gelato based flavors which is unique and so tasty, prices are very reasonable compared to other local coffee shops (5.35 for a large flavored latte), and they have heart straws which are a nice touch. No indoor seating, but in a great location for walking and sitting outdoors or around the area. A staple anytime we’re in town!
Very cute new coffee shop in La Encantada. They have different flavors and types of coffees to try and both light and dark roast options for the Americano. There isn’t really seating but if you’re looking to grab a coffee and keep walking around it’s good.
