Crema's Take

Mickey Cafe brings creative tropical refreshment to Honolulu's food court scene, with standout drinks like their inventive sugar cane slush that capture the genuine taste of fresh juice in unexpected forms. Their fruit smoothies are generously sized and hit their mark during warm weather, though the shop's consistency has been uneven—some visits deliver perfectly ripe mango blends while quality control issues have occasionally marred the experience. If you're in the area seeking an affordable, creative pick-me-up that showcases local tropical flavors, it's worth a stop, just knowing that attention to detail can be hit or miss.

First time I saw sugar cane slush on a menu and I wanted to try it. It was amazing - tasted exactly like sugar cane juice in slush form. One of the best drinks I’ve had!

Robbery!!! I asked for orange juice and I asked twice to make sure it is 100% orange, and he said I’ll make a juice for you! I was pregnant and I couldn’t have sugar and I specifically mentioned it They added sugar and water and ONLY half of orange!!!

I’m amending my review — There was a piece of wire in my boba. As I was chewing, I thought it was a hard, overcooked piece or fruit stem. Luckily I spat it out than try to tough it out and swallow. You can see my gross picture below. And to think I paid extra for boba. I am disappointed in myself! Fresh smoothie ($7) is just okay. I ordered honeydew, which was quite bland, as it appears to be simply fruit and a lot of ice blended together. I was expecting tastier (like the fruit smoothies from a particular place in Kalihi), therefore I was disappointed by this, given all the high ratings.

Great papaya smoothie. Large amount for the price. More than the others in the food court which I've also tried. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

If you are in the mood for a fresh fruit smoothie, then look no further. Perfect refreshments for a warm, sunny day. Mango season right now, so sweet.
