Mirakuru

I really enjoyed my visit to Mirakuru. The milky Vietnamese coffee I got was actually pretty strong, which I like. I got the weekday special for $4 and the awesome thing is that foams aren't extra for the special. I tried the sweet corn foam and it paired nicely with the coffee as a subtle sweetness. The interior is bright and airy, and the whole place smells like a fragrant floral jasmine. They were playing studio Ghibli piano music when I came in. I'd definitely come back for their other drinks! I love that they open at 8am, which is earlier than a lot of boba/milk tea places around.

UPDATE: THEY CHANGED!!! Different proportion, 8 oz less but same price. Ive been a loyal customer to the point where I always drove 30 minutes just to get their Mirakuru signature Matcha. But just two months after I left a 5 star review with the picture you can see here (it is a 24 oz cup), now the same drink has only half the milk, making it a 16 oz drink, while the price is still the same. TBH I really prefer you raise the price if that's the reason but DONT change the recipe!! Why you change the recipe!!! It tastes different now!!! I moved to the east coast two months ago and Mirakuru was the first place I wanted to go when I visited CA again this week, however this disappointment truly made me feel betrayed. You changed the recipe, you make the drink 1/3 less than before, and keep the same price.

This is one of my go to spots in OC for matcha and tea. It's a cute spot for studying or doing work too and tiktok hasn't brought the influencer crowds yet so it's nice and chill lol. Their boba is okay but teas and matcha are pretty good quality imo. My favorite drink so far has been the mango matcha milk (I get oat milk). So yummy! They have stamp cards for rewards which is nice. The employee who usually helps me is very friendly. The decor inside is nice and aesthetically pleasing too. Very underrated spot!

Super clean and cute atmosphere! My sister and I came here for fruit teas. We got the Moonlight Mirakuru and the Strawberry Black Tea. In addition, we ordered 2 of their silk coconut jelly and 2 of their mango coconut jelly. The teas are very rich tasting and they brew it fresh for you. The tea is strong if you’re not used to it, and it reminds me of Teavana blends. I couldn’t really taste the fruit that much, so if I come here again I’d order something else like their matcha. I couldn’t really taste the strawberry in my tea until I got to the bottom so maybe that’s just me. I definitely liked the silk coconut jelly way more than the drinks! It’s creamy but refreshing, and not too sweet.

I was craving a matcha but saw this spot instead. I ended up getting their Vietnamese coffee sweetened with condensed milk and it had to be one of the best I’ve ever had. Not too sweet but a good balance of strength and taste. A solid breakfast drink to start of the day! I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items.
