City Cafe Diner

We decided to check out this spot based on a recommendation from our hotel receptionist, and it did not disappoint. The menu is extensive with so many options that it’s almost impossible not to find something you like. My daughter ordered the Mickey pancakes from the kids menu, and they were adorable. She loved them and ate every single bite, which is very unusual for her. She even said it was the best breakfast she’s had in a really long time and that she was so full she “couldn’t walk.” My husband and I both ordered the deluxe breakfast, and everything was cooked perfectly. We also shared some food with our baby, who really enjoyed the scrambled eggs and sausage. The sausage was especially great because it wasn’t overly spicy. Overall, we would definitely come back here again… probably a hundred times if we lived closer. It’s a great spot, especially if you’re staying downtown like we were. Really good food and a great experience.

We ordered 2 orders of fried mushrooms. Cost us $25.44. This is what they look like. They look like they've been setting out for hours. The manager told me they were ordered through DoorDash. So go back through DoorDash to get a refund. She said, she had watched them fry our mushrooms. So they hadn't been sitting.

Chattanooga TN 24hr diner. Exceptional at any hour. The vibe is great. A real hustling diner feel. City Cafe is warm and inviting. The sample appetizer platter is wonderful. Especially the fried mushrooms and the wings and the shrimp. Oh heck the whole platter was delicious. The fried flounder dinner with fresh cut sautéed veggies and in house breaded onion rings was fantastic. The flounder is also offered broiled. The Brooklyn burger was perfectly constructed and cooked just as requested. The dessert selection is almost unbelievable. From massive cakes and pies to delicious pastries, cannolis, cookies and they are all waiting for you 24 hours a day. Don't miss the City Cafe.

First visit to the new downtown location. Wow!!! Food was fabulous !! You can’t go wrong with this menu, over 388 items to choose from. They have everyone covered. And, the desserts!! All 90 of them! All i can say is Oh Lawd! The chocolate eclair and The strawberry cake was quite tasty but plan on taking half if it home. To go enjoy it later. Ask for Tiffany as your server. She was attentive, efficient, courteous, and an excellent server even with a full section. We will return again soon. Open 24/7. All the way from Ga for my birthday.

Unbelievable 24/7 Gem! It’s truly impressive how this place manages to serve such an incredible variety and quality of food around the clock. You can walk in at any hour, even order scrambled eggs at 8 p.m. and it arrives perfectly made, just as if it were breakfast time. The consistency, freshness, and hospitality are simply outstanding. The dessert section deserves a special mention, it’s absolutely out of this world! The selection is amazing, beautifully presented, and every bite is delicious. The service is just as good, friendly, attentive, and efficient no matter how busy it gets or what time you visit. Overall, this is one of those rare spots that truly delivers quality 24/7. Highly recommend for any time of day, breakfast, late-night craving, or a sweet treat!
