Crema's Take

Craft Gourmet Bakery in Pensacola is a low-key creative hub where the coffee is just the beginning—their brown sugar hazelnut lattes and purple earl variations share the spotlight with standout dishes like corn Connecuh chowder and hot honey BLTs, all served in a pleasantly understated space that doubles as a poetry venue. The genuine warmth of the staff and thoughtful menu (including solid gluten-free options) makes this feel less like a typical coffee shop and more like a neighborhood gathering spot where you could easily settle in for hours, whether you're meeting friends or catching an evening of live poetry.

Such a pleasant experience! Drinks were great. I absolutely loved the brown sugar hazelnut latte. My husband had the chai tea and really enjoyed it as well. We ordered the hot honey BLT and it was amazing. It had incredible flavor and the bread was so fresh. Everyone there was kind, friendly, and very approachable, which made the experience even better. The cozy decor added such a nice touch. We'll definitely be back!

I had never heard of this place before, probably because I don't drink coffee. There is more to this place than coffee though. I posted a picture of the menu. The night I went, there was a poetry reading. Different people from different walks of life coming together express and share their writings. The outdoor seating area has gas heat lamps for cooler days. The staff appeared friendly and ready to assist. If you're looking for a nice, quaint place to meet someone, I'd say this would be a nice one. I'm unable to provide any opinions on the food or drinks since I did not order anything.

Craft Bakery blew me away. The corn Connecuh chowder was to die for—rich, smoky, and packed with flavor in every spoonful. The biscuits and gravy were on another level: creamy, fluffy, ooey-gooey in the best way, perfectly salted, and honestly just easy on the stomach. They somehow hit all the macros while still tasting like something made with real love. On top of all that, Alyssa’s service was incredible. She was friendly, attentive, and just genuinely amazing the whole time. Easily one of the best breakfast spots around. I’ll be back for sure.
