Crema's Take
“This beloved Ann Arbor tea sanctuary prioritizes genuine connection over productivity, with a thoughtful no-WiFi policy that invites sketching, conversation, and unhurried sipping rather than laptop work. The carefully curated tea selection shines through standout offerings like their hojicha macaron and seasonal blends such as Ginger Grapefruit green tea, with the generous option to resteep your leaves making each visit feel both indulgent and considered. Staff warmth and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere have made this independent spot a cherished neighborhood refuge for anyone seeking to truly unwind.”

Genuinely such a cool spot! I went here for my second time recently (despite living in the A2/Ypsi area for quite a while) and absolutely loved it. The staff is super kind- I don't know the name of the person that helped my friend and I when we were there, but they initialed my punch card with KK and were truly really helpful and sweet! It can definitely get very packed here- we went on a Thursday night and there weren't any seats left, but the place as a whole has such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. There are board games in the back which is super sweet, just wish there was a bit more space since it's such a cool spot. They have such a huge variety of teas and sweet treats. I definitely need to come back and try more flavors. I got the passionfruit tea iced which was AMAZING. I'm super appreciative that they have a lot of decaf options as well in addition to good prices! I think we got a 30 or 32 ounce to share and it was about $7.50 if I remember correctly. There's also a free punch card that I think after every 10(?) drinks, you get a free one. I'll certainly be back and I highly recommend. Makes me want to move downtown so I can come here more often! TLDR: if you like tea, come here. if you dont like tea, come here (it has a lot more to offer and you may be surprised! i didn't use to like tea either)
Chill place to try many different kinds of tea and small sweet treats ☺️ The staff were all really nice and welcoming. The hojicha macaron was great, and the summer romance iced tea was refreshing. It’s a cute place to hang out with friends. No laptops allowed, so it’s not the place for studying/doing work. There are board/card games to enjoy.
I just found out you can resteep your tea order, which makes so much sense. I have a lot of tea at home so I don’t order their tea that often, but I like them whenever I do. I’m always on the look out for new flavors of cakes and macarons. I feel like macaron’s flavors change roughly every month, but cakes are hard to predict. For a tea place, I really wish they have more tea flavor desserts. Of all the sweets I’ve had from them, I love their hojicha cake and hazelnut crepe cake the most.
I adore this place. Lots of seating, amazing selection, and I love that there is no WiFi or laptops allowed. I e joy coming here to sketch and do art while I drink tea. The Ginger Grapefruit green tea is fantastic.
My go to place whenever I want to relax and recharge. Tea is the best. Cakes and cookies are also delicious. Have had so many lovely times here.
