They are particularly known for recipes that blend these two elements, such as the Bun Chai Latte, as well as unique flavors like the Pistachio Latte 🍵 and Yemeni Latte. • Traditional Yemeni Brews: They import their beans directly from Yemen and offer authentic preparations like Mufawar (medium roast with cardamom and milk) and Qishr (coffee husks brewed with ginger and cinnamon). With the intentional detail and passion for perfect bean’s 🫘 This space will not disappoint. Including a dedicated prayer room is truly a blend of purpose and passion. 🇾🇪

Bun Chai is an absolute gem. The cafe is beautiful, warm, and so inviting. Everything we tried was delicious. The drinks were perfectly made and the pastries were fresh and flavorful. Such a cozy spot to study, catch up, or treat yourself. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Love Bun Chai, they have plenty of comfortable seating, clean bathrooms, and a prayer room. Highly recommend their Bun Chai Latte if you want a unique and tasty drink, it paired so well with the honeycomb bread (I got the honey on the side), which is the best I’ve had. Their Matcha was also great, I got the vanilla matcha, but I need to try their other flavors too. Overall, great atmosphere, drinks, and pastries.

Bun Chai is a beautiful and welcoming spot with a fantastic selection of drinks. The menu offers so much variety — from traditional Yemeni coffee and spiced teas to modern options like iced lattes and frappes. There’s truly something for everyone. I also loved the sweet treats on display — everything looked delicious. I tried the honeycomb and it was just as good as it looked! The atmosphere is thoughtfully designed and very aesthetically pleasing. It’s a calm, comfortable space that’s perfect for relaxing, getting computer work done, catching up with friends, or just enjoying a quiet moment. A special shoutout to Amelia, who was so friendly and helpful. She made me one of the best frappes I’ve had — smooth, perfectly blended, and full of flavor. I got the strawberry 🍓 & cream frappe. Her warm service made the experience even better. I would absolutely recommend Bun Chai to anyone looking for unique, high-quality drinks in a beautiful setting. I can’t wait to come back and try more of the drinks and sweet treats!

This is the BEST cafe in all of Ann Arbor, I'm practically here every single day!! I have tried majority of the menu so I'm REALLY experienced, each drink is better then the next. They never disappoint. I have never regretted spending so much money on multiple items in one day! From the refreshers to the matcha and best of all their lattes, each drink is exquisite with an expensive flavor profile. Every dessert is decedent and rich, I 100% recommend heating up the tarts especially the Dubai chocolate one! The manageesh/meat pies are so delicious I need one everyday. The staff is really sweet and they walk through every drink, making sure of allergens and what you're looking for, overall making the experience wonderful. Their recommendations never fail to keep me coming back. Prices are affordable and work it! They work really quickly and provide high quality items, it is an efficient and clean place!!
