Crema's Take

Two Seven Two feels like that rare neighborhood spot where excellence doesn't require pretension, with baristas who keep their cool during the morning rush while greeting everyone warmly and pastries—especially their vegan options—that genuinely rival major city coffee destinations. Their espresso-focused drinks pair beautifully with inventive house-made pastries like s'mores buns and daily focaccia, all served in a genuinely cozy atmosphere where you can linger or catch up with friends without feeling rushed. It's the kind of place where regulars know the baristas by name and newcomers immediately understand why it's become a gem in Clifton.

The s’mores bun and daily focaccia was good! The worker wasn’t exactly sure what was on the focaccia, but it seemed like artichokes and cheese. We also got the carrot cake scone which was great. The only thing was the pan au chocolate was extremely disappointing. Hardly any chocolate!!

just visited this morning on Valentine’s Day, they have been busy all morning but the baristas were still calm and friendly. They greeted everyone and paced themselves very reasonably. Of course the pastry was delicious and my coffee was good but the positive energy is what makes me excited to come back soon! Great spot to show my friends from out of town when they visit. Definitely recommend!

Truly a gem in the Clifton area. Pastries and coffee = high quality and delicious. Staff = friendly and loved by all. Kim Morgan Lou and Dawn are my best friends. Ambiance = cozy and comfy with great music. Vegan options. My home away from home.

I got a chocolate croissant and an iced vanilla latte. The staff were really nice and my order came out quickly. The chocolate croissant was delish but the coffee was subpar (and $6). I would come back again for the pastries but not the coffee.

The best vegan pastries I have EVER had. So buttery and flaky and soft and just perfect. PERFECT. I’ve been to a lot of major cities, and this place knocked it out of the park in all areas.
