68TH Street Cafe
4261 Truxel Rd, Sacramento, CA
Crema's Take
“68th Street Cafe fills a real gap in Natomas as the only spot serving authentic Vietnamese coffee early in the morning, alongside creative matcha drinks that clearly divide opinions but win over fans with thoughtful flavor combinations like matcha strawberry. The bakery pastries and almond cookies have their devoted followers who appreciate the crisp texture and restrained sweetness, though the inconsistency with food temperature and drink execution suggests this cozy neighborhood spot is still finding its rhythm with quality control.”

Amazing affordable food!!
Bakery food was not warm or offered to be warmed. Straight from the display to the to-go box. Good coconut coffee. Buy 2 get 1 free of pastries for a reason. Soggy garlic butter bread. Expected a cozy atmosphere but instead it’s a large room with 1 long wood bench and a few tables. No comfortable seating. The menu was very small and not many drink options. I’d come back if there was nicer seating and more menu options
I wouldn’t come back here. My drink was poorly made.i got a matcha and it tasted so chalky. I was never greeted by the owners.
I have been hoping and praying for a place just like this in Natomas,68th street has answered my prayers 😍 This is the only place in Natomas you can get a real Vietnamese coffee before 11am, and the only place where you can enjoy your morning coffee in well lit, naturally lit seating. EXTREMELY affordable pastries. One of the only other places to get a variety of fresh pastries in this area is Paris Baguette, but their prices are insane. Here, the pastries are half the price but just as good! Our favorite pastries were the pain au raisin and the garlic butter bread! Also, the current buy 3 get 1 deal is per item! We purchased 6 items, and after we ordered they told us we can get 2 more pastries. Keep in mind that the deal applies AFTER ordering. Great deal! I can’t wait to come back during lunch time to try the lunch foods :)
Delcious matcha strawberry drink. The almond cookies are crisp and tasty, not too sweet.
